Well it's been a while, but the Vienna Head-Fi Meet will be back on Saturday, 25th of March 2017 at the TU Vienna!

Room: Kontaktraum (main entrance, elevator to 6th floor)
Entrance fee: none! But as always, you are welcome to bring some spirits
 
Since it is a Saturday the short-term parking zone in the district is not enforced. Please don't park at the TU parking space, it's reserved for the people who work there. The concept of weekends usually isn't accepted within the scientific community

Hey, I'm thinking about attending the meet. How's the whole bringing equipment thing handled? I could bring a nice amplifier and some line level stuff, no headphones though. Is there any interest in such gear, or only complete setups?

Just come and have a good time, this meet is more about meeting people with same interests, the gear is more like a Bonus, at least for me :-D

I've just watched the prices:
 

• The Hotel Das Triest Wiedner Hauptstraße 12, 1040 Wien, 300 meters from the meeting place ( from 90,00 to 130,00 EUR)
• Carton Opera Hotel, Schikanedergasse 4, 1040 Wien, 500 meters from the meeting place ( 76,00 EUR)

 
Maybe someone from the local area could tell something more or could give an advice for us which are not from Wiena.

If you are fine with staying at a hostel I recommend the wombat's hostel at the Naschmarkt, which is within 10min walking distance from the location. Prices start at 16€ and you get bedsheets and towels.
