XBAs are not that expensive,EX1000 is still the flagship of SONY.
Indeed BA drivers from SONY are attractive,I love dynamic drivers,just can't wait to buy an EX1000.XBAs? Not very intrested

But the good news from SONY.jp is that XBAs has nice CPs,XBA4 about ￥29500（EX1000 is 60000）

In SONY's plan,EX1000 is a professional IEM that uses in studios.XBAs are ordinary products for ordinary people,maybe that's why the 4-driver XBA4 is cheaper

No, EX800ST is the studio model, basic packaging, no warranty, it says "for industry use" etc.
 
EX1000 is consumer Hi-Fi, for classical and jazz etc.

As I expected, the XBA4 is priced between the EX800ST and EX1000. I say that perhaps no crossovers are involved, because they aren't pictured or mentioned at all. I have to say, I don't understand that BA configuration Sony is doing. It seems vented and I don't understand how these don't have a nozzle as it was said.

Yes,I got some informations about EX800ST and MDR-7550,they are "for industry use",I mean EX1000 is a a referanced IEM,XBA is not a HI-FI IEM

It seems like about the W4's size. There's a picture of it in the ear and it really isn't that big, it's just that the other 3 are pretty small. The XBA1 is like the size of the Q-Jays.

Not to mention they made their OWN BA drivers (in Japan no less, where labour costs are very high) and their IEM's are cheaper than Shure & Westone.

EX1000 looks not only big but also huge@-@,but I feel comfortable,I love SONY
