I'm leaning towards the UM1's from everything I can find out about the multitude of <$100 choices.

I'm looking to pair these up with an iBasso P3 (happy birthday to me) and a refurbed Nano 1G (Rockboxed).

The UM1 is flat and balanced too. There's not much options for warm phones at the price range, the best would be the d jays, Superfi 3 and the Denons C551 and C751.

I thought the UM1 is on the warm side, if it is not warm enough, the Super.fi. 3 won't be either.

I just reviewed the Philips SHE9850, to me it's pretty warm sounding, you should be able to get it around $100.

I have got to say, the er-6 have a wonderful sound, but are not warm. I would say Shures are warm though.

For $100 i would go for C751, better sound quality than C551 overall. C551 is still good tho.

One vote for UM1

The overall sound is warm, especially the vocal, which sounds great.

Another choice that I've audition might be SE530, but they are over 100$.

The SE210's are not warm. They just have very rolled off treble, and I wouldn't say they have much bass either. They have very forward mids and that's the bulk of the sound signature. The highs are hard to hear and the bass is as well. Now, if you consider just mids to sound warm then I guess they are, but I wouldn't recommend them unless you want to focus only on mids as that is about all they do well - aside from isolate.
