hello, i'm looking to get a headphone for daytime listening since it's so noisy in my neighborhood even with the windows closed...
nothing too expensive- just around $100,  although i could spend a bit more if the value is right. main features that i'm needing is isolation, comfort, and balanced sound. i guess i could even look into IEMs but headphones have more appeal to me atm. any suggestions? thanks.

i decided to shell out for akg 271. i couldn't be happier right now listening to them. i don't think i could have made a better choice because, sad to say, they might even be more fun sounding than my diy loudspeakers that costed me 4 times as much....
