Hey guys
i was recommended to head-fi from what.cd

i was looking for some decent headphones. my price range is anywhere around 100$

i would use them mainly for school, or on road trips..
i listen to hardstyle techno, trance, and rap
if that makes a difference?
i was recommended the westone um1s?
noise isolation and comfort is a big concern
style is a MAJOR plus.. (i honestly dont like the westones 1. theyre ugly.. but if thats the best for my range, then im ok with that)

anyone recommend anything better/different?

thanks

Repeating my recommendation for UM1s from the original site.

They're stylin' too. Stripped down professional look over shiny stuff any day.

You could also look up Philips SHE9850, nice sounding iems wich looks, in my opinion, really good!

X2. The search engine on Head-Fi is your friend. Sometimes petulant, but it will work.
As they say in the law, asked and answered. The UM1 would not be my choice, but the OP will find there is a dizzying array from which to choose.

There's a deal somewhere on the monster turbines for $103 shipped - and BTW one of Kaboom's links was mine

The Turbines have incredible bass, which is nice for rap/techno etc... But some people believe it is TOO bass heavy. I do not blame them, I had to use the treble boost on my ipod in order to get them to sound more balanced.

Let me see if I can find the link...

EDIT:
Best Current Deal On Monster Turbine
