Hello,

I've got a friend who's not that much into music. I believe she isn't because she lacks sound quality, since she only listens to music through her imac's g5 built in speakers.

So I'm set on an endeavour of making her listen more eheheh (double meaning lol).

Could you guys give a little help on choosing the best possible computer speakers, with a budget of 100€ (no more).

If they're white, it would be great, since it would match her white computer, keyboard, lcd screen, etc. etc.

Thanks in advance!

Swans M10? JBL Creature? Altec AT3?

Not really super hi-fi (or even killer by multimedia speaker standards), but they look nice, and sound a lot better than built-in.

Found the JBLs:

And the Swans:

Altecs:
http://www.alteclansing.com/ae/us/computer-speakers/octane-7-vs4621/invt/vs4621/ (they've re-packed these about a half dozen times in the last ten years; they're neat little buggers for the price)

If you want a more "this is hi-fi" approach, go for near-field monitors. Yamaha will probably look the best, but that doesn't mean they sound the best:
