Without getting into obscure limited budget bombs or sequels, here are some major release duds:

-battlefield earth (travolta)
-hudson hawk
-howard the duck
-ishtar (dustin hoffman)
-strip tease (demi moore)
-wild wild west (will smith)
-star wars episode 1
-spice world (spice girls)
-popeye (robin williams)
-nothing but trouble (dan aykroyd)
-look who's talking (travolta)
-leonard (bill cosby)
-batman & robin (george clooney)
-rhinestone + tango (stallone)
-glitter (mariah carey)
-planet of apes (tim burton)
-supergirl
-bolero (bo derrick)
-blue lagoon
-last action hero (arnold)
-bio-dome (pauly shore)

The list would be endless if we include all the Porkies, Police Academy, Smokey & Bandit type movies.

Just finished reading the book Starship Troopers. Although I fully enjoyed it, it was a completely different ride than the "gung-ho sci-fi adventure" that I loved. I'll put it shortly...the movie is a very, very, loosely based on the novel. Where's the mobile infantry's powered suits? That wouldve been so cool!

Man SO many mainstream movies here. Good to se most of you havent seen some of the horrors of B grade flicks. Some of that stuff makes what you call bad look like great stuff. I realize of course everyone has diffrent opinons on what bad movies are. Heheh watch some MST3K....

I can't *believe* that no one has mentioned Final Destination. It was like a big pile of crap with more crap on top, stuffed with more bullsh*t than you could ever imagine.

Boy, was that movie ever a steaming pile!

the worst movie ?

Universal Soldier : the return. With our national shame : Jen-Claude Van Damme. I thought the first one was already the worst movie ever done. I was badly wrong.
