Yep. I should have clarified.

"Usual real field usage for consumers."

He's also running an Intel 750.

Can't remember if the 960 Pro bested that or not, I think they were similar.

Me so tired.....now wondering whether or not I'm in a suitable state of mind for delicate component level board repair.

Grand Order was alright, all these different Fate timelines are starting to confuse me.

Mid range? 334 I guess.

Go try 334 and 335 by your own.

FitEar Ayayayayayayayaa, 333, 334 or if you like moar bass 335DW.

Noble Katana

Custom Art Pro330v2

Audio Technica IM02,  IM03

Oriolus

I'll make sure to try these out too. Idk if this is a silly question but do shops even have custom IEM for demo?
Buy the most expensive you could afford and let your mind pleases you.

I would love to do that and price probably plays a big part in how much I value something too but half the fun of this hobby is trying different things out and doing research (for me at least)

I'll try them out :) Btw when you said unobtainable, do you mean in terms of price?

I don't know if the Monet17s are still Japan only. But FitEars are still a only Asia obtainable thing.

Usually they have an universal fit demo unit.
If your are in Hong Kong, I know a shop has the following Fitear model for demo.
333, 334, 335, monet17, Air, aya

The original Monet was Japan exclusive but now discontinued

Monet17 is available for order in selected shop outside of Japan

Another Japan exclusive modle would be "Aya snow"

Ah ok well the shop here says they sell em so I might look into it if they'll last a long time since they cost $2000 USD here. Not sure if the price is much different than in Japan but I would assume it is since headphones here tend to cost a lot more.

USD 2000 for Monet17? No way I will pay that much for Monet17.
335 suggested price in HK is HKD 16800 as I recalled, around USD 2150 for your reference.

The 335DW are $2200 USD here so that's relatively close in price? I would assume that's a much better deal? Oh 334 is $1850 USD and 333 is $1550 USD for reference.

Seriously check out the Ayayayayayaya and even the Air if you 334 and above are pushing your budget. They are every bit as interesting to listen to imo.

Monet17, I am not really a fan of myself, ymmv.

I plan to catc~ try em all haha. They're $1450 USD here but I think they only sell the standard version here. Is there a difference between standard and ~snow~?
Maybe I will visit the shop this Saturday and check the price of Monet17 for reference.

Unless you like Monet17's sound signature, I suggest you go for the 334/335.

Well I managed to find a price quote of 165000 Yen for the Monet17 which would mean I would be paying a $800 USD premium which doesn't seem all too great. I'll give em a listen anyways but unless I fall in love with em or something I probably won't get them.
