So I was looking around for potential parts that I can get for a desktop overhaul and I kinda like this suggestion
Intel i5-4690K + MSI H97 PC Mate
Crucial DDR3-1600 CL11 8GB X2
MSI GTX 970 4GB OC
Samsung 850 EVO 250GB
Super Flower Leadex Gold 550W (I was told I should replace my aging Andyson F500m power supply)
 
1270SGD in total, which is pretty reasonable I guess.
 
Now I am not sure what cooler I would like to pair it with though
