    HD650 vs HE-4

    Hey guys. I would like some feedback from those of you who have listened to the HD650 and HE-4. I'm going to upgrade, and was hoping I could get some impressions. By the way, if those of you who have listened to either or both cans could also list your musical preferences it would be very helpful.

    Would a Fiio e17 be good enough for a HE-4.

    I can't find much information about the HE 4. I know its old but im getting a good used deal on it. Also how does it compare with the likes of a HD 598, disregarding price difference. I can't find a shop carrying the HE 4 so i'm worried I might not like it upon hearing it.

    Head-Direct / Hifiman's most affordable ortho. HE-4 is the single end version of HE-5LE: very similar sound signature. Because HE-4 only have 50% magnet in HE-5LE, it is much lighter (350g).
