How does it compare with the Aria if you remove the clear adhesive rings behind the Aria's metallic hexagonal wax guards?

Have not tried removing anything on the Aria yet, heard the veil becomes clear after, from the forums. You may like to try.

I bought mine from Lazada, compared the price and found out the Lazada one is cheaper (MYR 130), it doesn't sound veiled or anything, but mine felt like the vocals are slightly behind the instruments hmm. My set also have the accessories like you've mentioned.

On my set right now, vocals are forward sounding as well as the instruments, do not sound like slight behind. If you guys have TRN TA1 mid centric set, it sounds likewise forward sounding, thats why when i heard this set, i immediately compare the FR on both and made my review immediately and posted. Anyways enjoy whilst i am enjoying it much, cheers.

Hmm I did a few more listening, I think it sounds better after a slight burn in (at least for me), vocals are in much better position now, very similar with the instruments hmm. I guess in older recordings the vocal sounds slightly behind, but modern recordings are relatively forward. And yeah I do enjoy it very much hmm

yes agree, after burn in is much better and smoother. recordings done is crucial / critical in the playback we hear. love this set very much, especially for that price, no brainer.

have not tried, this set is pretty bright mid centric, suppose can work for gaming.
