It is normal for them to get hot especially if the dongle casing is made of Aluminum, the heat will dissipate. Mine gets hot too

strange mine wasnt getting notably hot...anyway, my Audirect Beam2 do get warm-hot sometime and it never interfer with performance.

for those confused because CKlewis doest have the JM20 yet back in stock, just type ''CS43131 DAC'' on ALI and you will find some OEM dongle with this chip....buy it at your own risk but im pretty sure some are legit in there too!
