It's quite interesting out of the box and getting better with burn in steadily. Powering with good DAP instead of phone turns these into audiophile's experience! DS is not exaggerating.....A gem!

They look huge? How do you think someone with smaller ears would get a decent fit?

They are fairly large. I have medium to small ears and these barely fit. But they’re quite ergonomical.

Tx400 should fit. I bet the Tx500 will fit as well.
