Ordered these recently as the prospect of an earbud with great bass interests me. That comment about them sounding like a 2.1 got me excited! I wonder how these sound with Dolby Atmos mixed tracks, should be delighted!

Oh yea you're in for a treat. They arent bass monsters but they do have some authoritative bass impact. Highly recommend some burn in on the drivers but otherwise they are a blast to listen to.

Fiio made an enjoyable bud in the FF3. very musical full bodied sound signature, well balanced nicely technical and more importnatly a fun bass end. Its more speaker like in presentation due to how ambient the sound is. Very nicely done by Fiio.

Thanks for the review! Could you elaborate a bit more on "Impractical for outdoor uses or commute due to flat head earbuds form factor"> Are they really really unusable (just because of the drum shape)? Did you try them while moving and they kept falling?
