Wow Ds, you mean business with this review - nice work! One of the things that worried me about the Titan's was the treble, however what you said here goes a long way towards making me feel more comfortable with them:

"The Titan 1s are described to be V shaped in sound, however after the longer extended burn in Dunu recommends, I can say it is more of a U shape in sound than a V. Treble for being "enhanced," I am finding a non fatiguing controlled treble range that clearly has some of the best depth, attack, shimmer and decay among single dynamics."

Way to go... you have me wanting yet another pair of iems!

Read the other reviews for them as well. I haven't read anything really negative about them yet.

I find the Titan 1 to be very natural sounding and the treble to be one of its' best aspects.

I absolutely agree with you Niyologist. The treble has grown on me and if you haven't burned in your earphone for the full 200 I highly recommend it. It polishes this sound to a sheen and tightens the bass so the mids come out a bit. Worth doing for certain.

Nice review Ds, I enjoyed having read that this earphone is simliar to a hybrid without having the clustered array of two to three drivers.

I might just go to massdrop and buy it, but it is unfortunate that it is semi-open.

I only burned it in for 30 hours and it's amazing. The trumpets actually sound like trumpets. The Titan 1 does pretty well with horn instruments. :)

Great review Dsnuts! I'm also enjoying them a lot but need to put some more time on them before posting my review.
