Thanks @dw1narso ! I am sorry that I couldn't understand what you mean as tonal quality but if I get it right I have to mention that this earphone is on the north of being neutral (on the bassier side) and have a great organic timbre. Sound is warm, mids and highs region are both near excellent. Soundstage is extremly expansive for an earphone in this size and it has the best stage I have ever heard at the similar price range. Think of an K7XX but with a slightly warmer (and thicker) tilt on the tones. I appreciate this earphone more and more as I continue listening to it. Hope my reply helps your question.
Thank you @yanghejie ! GT-36 became my daily earphone now. I love it! Thanks for bringing the website to my attention! I couldn't fin its official site before the review. Now I am adding its link inside the review! Cheers.
Baycode, thanks for your kind reply. Tonal quality usually used to describe how faithful/close it could reproduce the sound (and notes) as it should be.Piano would sound like a real piano, human sound natural, etc. A phone could sound bassy or bright, but still could reproduce the sound with the right tone. As contrary, there are phones that has their tonal shifted, sometimes on certain frequency only. For example, if I used Piano as reference, in my ear, the famous Sennheiser HD600 while could be faithful reproducing middle C (C4) going upward but it struggle to handle the piano lower registers.
With transducer that has good tonal quality, you could differentiate not just instruments, but easily one unique piano brand sound to the others (i.e. Steinway to Bosendorfer to Yamaha, for example).
