While I am an avid gamer and would provide a full 5 star to this sound card if it were purely advertised and functioned for gaming, it dosent quite deliver in the music department right out of the box. I am thinking of the consumer here. It took me a good week of deep tweaking and numerous mods I finally got it to the point of near perfection, in my eyes. Then again everyone is different and the next guy may love this to death for music. I personally am a heavy EDM listener. This of which means I am a fan of my wide and powerful lows, as well as crispy (not sharp) highs (and sometimes a nice tight bass doesn't hurt).
 
Bottom line is, if your the average consumer and a gamer, buy this. I highly recommend it. If you are none of these and are not used to deep tweaking your audio, don't.

While these headphones deliver a very nice tight bass and crispy clear highs, I cannot recommend these to any of you looking for a good balanced audio experience. However if you are someone who is a fan of bass heavy music or music with powerful highs (such as EDM), then I recommend you take a listen to these. I cannot justify these for their $300 price tag on Monster's website either. However at the price I got them ($89 at Frys, Christmas special) they check nearly every box I have when looking for a headphone.
