Kinera Celest CD-2: The new standard for entry-level dongles...

Intro:
Before starting the review, I would like to thank Kinera for sending me this unit to try & review.

Just so you know, the Kinera Celest CD-2 is the latest cheap dongle from Kinera which is sold for $26 & in Indonesia it is sold for 400 thousand.

The completeness of the sales package is quite simple. There is only the dongle unit in the box. In terms of build quality, this dongle is quite good in my opinion, made of heavy metal material & doesn't feel hollow. So it doesn't look cheap even though the price is quite cheap.

In terms of features, this dongle can be said to be minimal, because this dongle is a plug & play type. In terms of power, this dongle is quite okay with a power of around 60mw which is enough for most IEMs. In addition, this dongle is a dongle that has a fairly cool temperature when used for a long period of time.

Lastly for this review I used the Celest Rue iem with a volume of around 50% for SE & 40% for the balance (I used the VJC BPJS NERO 2 cable for this test).

1000015752.jpg

Sound Quality:
Bass:
Just additional information for this sound review I will focus on the SE 3.5mm Jack because after testing for some time there is not much difference in sound character between the 3.5 & 4.4mm Jack, there is only a slight difference in power.

First from the bass, when Rue is installed into this dongle it feels a little more quantity, for presentation it feels a little better from the texture & bass control than Rue directly plugged into a laptop or cellphone.

Mid:
For the mid, in terms of position it doesn't change much but in terms of weight it feels like the weight is slightly reduced so it's not as thick as when Rue is plugged directly into a cellphone. For the vocal presentation when Rue is plugged into this dongle, it feels more energetic, clearer & a little more free vocals compared to when plugged directly into a cellphone or laptop.

Treble:
For the treble, it also feels better when Rue is plugged here compared to plugged directly into a cellphone or laptop. The presentation feels a little more energetic & a little more extended. Although it's still not so good for treble lovers like me, at least it feels a little better when Rue is plugged here.

Technical:
For the technical, overall it feels better than when Rue is plugged directly into a cellphone. The most noticeable part is the resolution, clarity and better detail. The stage also feels a little wider when Rue is plugged into this dongle.

1000015750.jpg

Comparison:
Celest CD-2 VS KA15:
Yes, maybe it's not so fair, I will still compare it because I have been using KA15 for quite a long time as a daily driver for my source.

In terms of features & design, the CD-2 is clearly inferior to the KA15, the KA15 has a better design for me & abundant features. But if you look at it in terms of portability, the CD-2 is clearly better than the KA15 because it has a simpler design & use because it is a typical plug n play DAC dongle.

In terms of sound, both are also slightly different, for me the CD-2 sounds a little more fun, especially in the bass section. While the KA15 feels better in its vocal presentation which is more swinging, sweet & cleaner. For the treble, it feels a little more energetic on the CD-2 but the treble extension feels better on the KA15. For the technical aspects, the KA15 clearly feels better in almost all aspects, understandably the price is much different from the CD-2.

1000015751.jpg

Conclusion:
The Kinera Celest CD-2 is an interesting dongle for me. In addition to having a minimalist design & good build quality, this dongle also offers some improvement in terms of sound which is quite good for a DAC dongle at its price even though it only uses a budget class chipset for its operation but in terms of overall quality it is not inferior to some of the dongles above it that use higher chipsets.

So in my opinion this dongle is very worthy to try, especially for those who need a simple, minimalist, cheap dongle & has good sound at its price.

Kinera Celest Rue: Entry level IEM from Kinera Celest...

1000015707.jpg

Intro:
Before starting this review, I would like to say thank you very much to Kinera for sending this unit for me to try & review.

For those who don't know, Kinera Celest Rue is an entry level IEM or the cheapest from Kinera Celest which is sold for $16 or around 100-200 thousand rupiah in Indonesia.

For the completeness of the sale itself, it is fairly ordinary like most IEMs at its price. It consists of 3 pairs of Eartips, 1 Cable & the IEM itself.

1000015681.jpg

For the build quality itself, it's pretty ordinary for me, the eartips aren't great but for direct use it's still okay & comfortable for me, for the cable it's also ordinary, the quality is according to the IEM standard in its price class, only my personal note for the earhook on the cable is quite stiff & the shape is not comfortable which makes the use of the IEM less comfortable in my ears. For the quality of the IEM itself, it's also quite ordinary, made of plastic with a nozzle made of aluminum alloy.

More information, for the color choices, there are 4 color choices that are quite interesting for me, namely orange, purple, pink & black. For the unit I got this time it was black.

Lastly, for this review I used the Kinera Celest CD-2 as the source. A little info also if this IEM is still quite light & can still be plugged directly into a cellphone or laptop. I plugged it into the Kinera Celest CD-2 only needing a volume of about 40-50% on the 3.5mm Jack.

Sound Quality:

1000015683.jpg

Bass:
This IEM has a fairly large bass quantity & can be said to tend to feel a bit boomy in its presentation. The subbass feels quite deep with its medium decay, so the bass speed feels sufficient, not the fast type but not too slow either.

For the midbass, it has a fairly good beat with a texture that is still quite okay. Only for the control, it can be said that it is not very good. So the bass still has the impression of blebbing into other instruments.

Mid:
For the mid, its position is slightly back behind the bass with a portion of vocals that can be said to be still quite balanced between the male vocals & the female vocals.

The vocal presentation itself can be said to be quite smooth, a bit thick, swinging & still feels quite natural. Only for the female vocals for my personal taste, it feels less energetic & feels like it is held back or not released enough.

For the peak or sibilance problem, it can be said to be safe here. Only on the other hand, the resolution & clarity feel a bit less good in this mid section.

Treble:
For the treble itself, it can be said that Rue is a typical treble with a smooth presentation or even tends to be a bit dark. For treble lovers, it must feel less pleasant with Rue's treble whose presentation tends to be laid back & tends to roll off like this.

But on the other hand, treble like this is very suitable for people who are sensitive to treble & very suitable for long listening.

Technical:
For the technical, I won't talk much, the only thing that is still quite good is the timbre which still feels natural. The rest is just ordinary according to its price & some parts of the resolution, clarity and details that can be said to be a bit lacking.

But in this case, I still understand the price which tends to be cheap with what is obtained from the technical part.

Comparison with competitors:
Celest Rue VS KZ Saga Balance:
For the bass, both have quite a large quantity, but for the presentation, the saga balance feels better in terms of texture, speed & control of the bass. It feels like the saga presentation is neater than Rue.

For the mid, the saga feels like its position is not as far back as Rue even though both have quite a large bass quantity. For the vocals, the Rue presentation feels thicker, swinging & smoother. While the vocal presentation in the saga feels more energetic, clear & clean.

For the treble, the saga is clearly better than the Rue. The saga treble feels more energetic, more detailed & the extension is better than the Rue. So for this sector, the saga is more suitable for treble lovers. But on the other hand, Rue will be more suitable for those who are sensitive to treble with its smooth & laid back presentation.

1000015682.jpg

Conclusion:
Kinera Celest Rue is an entry level iem from Kinera which honestly in terms of presentation still has a lot to improve in my opinion considering that in its current price range there are many competitors that have very good quality. But considering its cheap price I can still understand its current shortcomings & in my opinion there is still a segment of connoisseurs for this iem. But I hope that Kinera can be better in the future & can make better iems and be able to compete with its competitors especially in this entry level segment.

BQEYZ BQ-10

Nice and useful equipment
Cons: - Sub Bass is not very deep
- The female vocals are a little less energetic for my taste.

BQEYZ BQ-10: A great option for $30...

Intro
Before starting this review, I would like to thank 'BQEYZ AUDIO' who sent this unit for review.

First, for the completeness, this iem gets 6 pairs of eartips, 1 cable, 1 hardcase & the iem itself. For the quality of the accessories, for me, this is quite good, from the eartips which are quite comfortable in the ears, the quality of the cable which has a good appearance, thick but still flexible to the case which is quite okay. Well, at least the stock accessories can be used directly without having to replace aftermarket accessories.

For the quality of the iem, it is still standard chifi, which is made of plastic with a faceplate made of metal. The finishing is quite neat & the weight is also good, it doesn't feel hollow like cheap iems. Lastly, this iem is still quite light, I tested it using FIIO KA15 using only 40-50% power at low gain. So it's still safe or you could say it's not fussy with the source. But still my suggestion, IEM will be better if plugged into a better source.

Sound quality
Bass:
First of all, this iem has a bass quantity that can be said to be sufficient with a greater focus on the midbass. The subbass has a sufficient extension, not too deep.

For the midbass, the presentation of the beat is quite solid with a fairly good texture. In addition, there is a soft sensation on the beat that makes this iem feel good.

For the control, it is also quite good so the bass has minimal bleed to the mids. In addition, the speed is still quite fast, although not as fast as the C2, Conch, especially the plannar iem.

Mid:
For the mid, it is positioned slightly back behind the bass. The mid has the right weight, not thick but not thin either. The vocal portion is also balanced between male and female vocals.

The vocal presentation itself for this IEM is typically smooth, swinging, natural & there is no sibilance or peak. Yes, you could say it is a good vocal type for long listening. It's just that for my personal taste, the vocals are a little less energetic & less free, especially in the female vocals.

For the timbre, it is still safe, feels natural from the piano sound to the guitar strumming. Everything is presented well & there is no strange impression.

Treble:
For the treble, it's the same as the vocals, this iem is a typical iem that is suitable for long listening. It has a treble that is presented smoothly but not too smooth or loses its treble. The cymbal strikes can still be felt even though the sensation is not very crisp or energetic.

For the impression of peak or grainy, it's safe here. Yes, overall the treble may feel lacking for trebleheads, but for those who are sensitive to treble, this iem is worth a try.

Technical:
For the technical, for the price it's still okay. For the stage it's medium, not too wide or too narrow, besides the depth & height are also sufficient.

For the separation it's good, it feels separate between the instruments. For the resolution & clarity, especially in the vocal area, it's okay even though it's not the typical clear or very clear like conch or dfi. For the details it also still feels okay, like the details of the instruments or backing vocals can still be noticed.

Yes, overall for the price of $30, the technical is okay in some parts even though it's not included in the very good category. Because this iem is more prominent in tone, especially in the vocals than in the technical.

Comparison
BQEYZ BQ-10 vs Tanchjim Zero Ultima:
For the bass, both are not the type of IEM that stands out in this sector, only the midbass presentation I prefer on the BQ-10, it feels more punchy so there is a slightly more fun impression.

For the vocals, both are the same type, only the vocals feel more weighty & more balanced between the male & female vocals on the Zero Ultima. Only on the other hand, the BQ-10 feels the vocals are a little clearer & more transparent. Both are safe from sibilance or shouty for the vocals.

For the treble, I like the presentation a little more on the Zero Ultima. Is a little more energetic & more extended for the treble.

For the technicalities, both are balanced or you could say they are still equal because both rely more on their tonalities than their technicalities.

Conclusion
BQEYZ BQ-10 is the latest entry IEM (actually it's been out for a long time, but I just got my hands on it) from BQEYZ Audio. This IEM is quite interesting in terms of its tone, it has a fairly good mid presentation with good vocal presentation. In addition, other sectors are also still quite okay even though it is quite segmented in the bass & treble areas.

In terms of technology, it is also quite okay even though this IEM is not a very good one technically, but what is presented is enough for me.

In addition, in terms of packaging, the price is also quite good where all the accessories can be used directly without having to replace aftermarket accessories.

So is this IEM worth buying? In my opinion, it is worth trying for those who need an IEM for long listening or who like a slightly relaxed sound. At a price of $ 29, it is quite worth what you get.

Roseselsa Distant Mountain
Pros: - Nice look in classic style
- Solid Build Quality
- The equipment you get is very good
- The sound obtained is sufficient for casual use
Cons: - Not suitable for treble lovers
- The technical sound is not that good
Roseselsa Distant Mountain: A classic-style cool look...

1000003973.jpg

Intro:
Previously I would like to say thank you very much to Roseselsa for sending this unit for me to review. In this review, I used the full stock of accessories obtained from the cable & earpads foam unit. As for the source, I used FIIO KA15.

Lastly, I want to emphasize, honestly this is my first experience using this type of headphone so I don't have many preferences or experiences but I will make an honest review from my experience in using it for several days. So if there are any shortcomings, please understand.

Completeness :
For completeness, honestly it is very interesting & enthusiastic because for me every time I try a product from Roseselsa, they are always not stingy about completeness. This is always my first plus point for every Roseselsa product. For the completeness of the Roseselsa Distant Mountain itself, the following is obtained:
1. Headphone Unit.
2. 2 Pairs of Foam (1 pair of full foam & 1 pair of donut foam).
3. MMCX cable with MIC.
4. 1 acrylic character "WAIFU"
5. 1 dongle (Should have gotten this, but my unit didn't get it because it was out of stock after I confirmed it with Roseselsa)

1000004185.jpg

Overall, the completeness that is obtained is very interesting and the unboxing feel is also interesting because the shape of the box is large & the small parts of the accessories are well considered in their placement, so it feels like it's not an expensive or limited item.

Build Quality:
For the build, no comment, this can be said to feel good from the headphones which are fairly solid made of a sturdy iron or steel frame, the leather part also doesn't look cheap & the overall finishing is also neat. As for the quality of the cable, it is also okay, coated with sleeves, flexible & not microphonic. Then for the foam, it is also comfortable, there is no impression that makes it uncomfortable when used for a long time.

Overall, for me, the build quality is good for its price class.

Sound Quality:
- Bass
The first when I use full foam, the bass has a medium quantity & feels quite balanced between the subbass & midbass. For the subbass, it has an extension that is still okay, it still feels quite deep although not very deep & the rumble still feels quite okay. For the midbass, it feels quite solid but unfortunately the texture feels less good, and the control doesn't feel that good. The speed of the bass feels medium, not too fast.

While for the use of the donut foam, the bass doesn't feel as big as the full foam. The bass also feels a little tighter, the bass control is also a little better & the speed also feels better. The only minus if you use the donut foam, the subbass doesn't feel as deep & the midbass isn't as smooth as if you use the full foam.

- Mid/Vocal
For the mid, if you use full foam, it has the right weight with its position right in the middle. For the vocal presentation, it can be said that it is quite balanced between the male and female vocals. The male vocals have the right weight, not too thick and not too thin. For the female vocals, the weight is also right, but for me personally, the vocals feel less energetic and like they are held back or like they are not free enough.

Now, if you use the donut foam, the female vocals feel better. They feel more energetic and freer, not held back like when using full foam. In addition, the vocals also feel clearer and a little more forward. But on the other hand, the weight feels thinner, which means that the male vocals are not as good as when using full foam.

- Treble
For the treble, actually, for using both foams, the results don't feel much different because basically the treble part tends to have a smooth presentation with a treble extension that is not that good or tends to roll off. So I don't recommend using full foam for those who still need treble because using full foam makes the treble presentation worse than the donut foam. But for those who are sensitive to treble, I think it's okay to use full foam.

- Technical
For technical, from the soundstage, it still feels quite wide while for depth & height it feels sufficient. Then for the separation it's still quite okay, it still feels quite neat even though in certain songs that are busy sometimes it still feels piled up. For clarity & resolution, it still feels quite good when using donut foam, especially in the mid/vocals area, it still feels quite clear & clean.

Finally, for the details, it feels a bit less good, like something is missing compared to when I use IEM, like the details are better on my IEM.

View attachment 1000003941.webp

Conclusion: Roseselsa Distant Mountain is one of the products that is still relatively new from Roseselsa Silence. With its cool appearance with a retro classic design, it yep people. In addition, the sound presented is still arguably enjoyable even though it is not very good. Just for casual everyday use, this should be enough to enjoy, especially since it also does not require a complicated source, just with a DAC dongle, you can enjoy it. So for the price of around a million, I quite recommend trying this headphone, especially for those who like the design & for casual everyday use.

Epz Q5 Pro: Another IEM is good for the price of $ 50 ...

Intro

Disclaimer Unit of the Epz Q5 Pro that I review this time is the Jack 4.4mm version, so it allows differences in impressions with the 3.5mm Jack version.

For this review I also use the default IEM cable & Eartips and supported by Source Dongle Dac Fiio Ka15. For the use of this IEM itself, I suggest to use a minimum of dongle DAC to get the best potential even though in my opinion this IEM is still included in the category of lightweight IEM or not fussy source.

I myself use KA15 need a volume of around 50% for the best potential in the Bal 4.4mm plug with low gain.

Completeness, build quality & fitting

For the completeness for the price class, it is actually just the usual but at least for completeness such as cables & Eartips can be used immediately comfortably without having to replace it with the aftermarket version. For details, more details can be seen in the picture.

IMG_20250126_134027.jpg

For the quality of the build itself Q5 Pro is not good or sturdy, the Housing IEM is made of plastic but for the material itself including good plastic does not seem plastic like most cheap IEMs, it feels good & for finishing build housing also feels neat. For the cable is also quite good even though it looks thin but feels quite flexible, not easily tangled and can be rolled neatly & most importantly does not feel microphonic. Finally, for the Eartips there are no problems either, the ingredients are quite comfortable & pleasant to use for a long time.

For fittings in the ears of Q5 Pro, this is no complaints, even among those who are comfortable with me. From the shape & weight there is no complaint if for me. Yes, this should be quite safe for many people.

Voice

This IEM is arguably the direction of the sound is still not much different from the usual Q5, including the V-Shape IEM, only Q5 Pro feels a little more and more relaxed than the usual Q5. For the full explanation as follows.

IMG_20250125_011111.jpg

Bass

This bass Q5 Pro has a medium quantity with its subbass that feels quite palace with the Rumble which is still quite okay. As for the midbass, I have an impact that feels quite a skill, just for the texture is quite ordinary not really good.

For the bass control, it is still a good one that makes the bass safe or not bleber or cross into the mid area. Whereas the speed bass is still classified as okay, so you can say that is also a fast one and delicious for double pedal'an.

MID

For this mid, the position is slightly behind with the right weight, not the thick one but not a very thin one too. There is still a boost also a little at the uppermid that makes the vocal girls a little more dominant than the male vocals.

For vocals the guy is already good, the weight is just right for my taste even though maybe for some people it still lacks a little weight. As for the girl's vocals, the weight is, including the delicious ones, feels right when it's not thin.

For the vocal presentation, it is quite swinging, tastes sweet, clear, quite clean and is still quite energetic even though the presentation is not as energetic as the usual Q5 only for sibilance or shouty is still safer here than in the usual Q5.

Treble

For the trebler Q5 Pro is still one of the energetic ones, it is not as energetic or seem more calm when the usual Q5. The treble presentation still feels quite detailed, the symbols are also quite crispy the weight when it doesn't feel thin and is still quite safe, there is no impression of peak or grary that I feel.

As for the treble extension, it is still relatively good, the impression of airy & open from the trebler is still getting quite okay.

Technical

For the technique for me, this is still one of the good for the price. From the soundstage which is included in the width with the balanced depth & height that is pretty good so the stages seem quite balanced.

For the imaging, it feels pretty precise even though it's not a very full one or really 3D, just for the price, including one of the good ones.

For separation & laying is also neat & is one of the good for the price. As for the details, resolution & clarity is also one of the good for the price even though it is not as good as the usual Q5 in this section. Finally, for transient speed, it is still good for the price class even though it is clear if compared to Plannar is clearly still below it.

Comparison

Epz Q5 Pro vs Epz Q5 Ordinary:

The bass is bigger and the subbass feels a little more in the Q5 Pro. Make the mid -weight a little thinner in the usual Q5 with a more energetic vocal. In Q5 Pro, the vocal feels more calm, more body, more nagging & safer than sibilance.

For the treble it feels more energetic & more extends in the usual Q5. For the technique it is still similar to details, the resolution & clarity is still a little better. Yes overall for me both still have +- just adjust the taste, if I personally honest still choose the usual Q5.

Epz Q5 Pro vs 7Hz Sonus:

The bass quantity in Sonus feels thinner than in Q5 Pro. Q5 Pro also feels more depth subbass & the midbass is a little more traveled than Sonus. For MIDS, Q5 Pro feels a little more weighty than Sonus with vocals that are more nagging, more bodied & safer than sibilance. The timny is also clearly better in Q5 Pro.

For the treble it also feels better in Q5 Pro, more energetic, more detailed, the treble body is also not as thin as Sonus & tastes more airy. As for the technical, it is still balanced, the stage feels more balanced & the details are also a little better in Q5 Pro. As for the separation and the laying, it feels better in the sonus of the hybrid driver effect. For the rest is still equal to both of them. Yes overall if I have to choose, obviously I still prefer in Q5 Pro.

Conclusion

Epz Q5 Pro is quite interesting for the price class. Although not the upgrade version of Epz Q5, but he offers something a little more different from the Q5 version. Maybe in terms of building quality still similar to Q5 but he brought a pretty good update, namely for his PIN, which previously used MMCX now using 2pin where it was very good for most people who prefer 2pin than MMCX.

As for the voice, although not the ongrading of the Q5 version, but he brought something different than the usual Q5 in several parts. Yes, although there may be some people who still like the previous version, there will also be some who like this Q5 Pro version.

So is this IEM worth a try? Yes, it is clear in my opinion for the price of the price IEM is very worth trying ...

Nicehck B80: Turns out it's delicious...

IMG_20250120_030428.jpg

Intro

First of all, I would like to thank NiceHCK Audio for sending this Nicehck B80 unit for review.

For this review I used the FIIO KA15 source with a volume of around 50% on the 4.4mm BAL plug, because I happened to get a unit with the 4.4mm Jack version.

Completeness

For completeness, the Nicehck B80 gets the following parts:

- Nicehck B80 earbuds
- HardCase
- 3 pairs of foam + 3 pairs of foam donuts
- Velcro strap
- Manual & warranty
- Beautiful box

IMG_20250118_144002.jpg

Build & fitting

The housing build for the B80 earbuds is made from resin with a finish that makes me look neat & attractive in appearance. Namely a black color that is slightly transparent with additional sprinkles such as golden yellow grains which make it look premium.

The cable is also quite good with the cable size being just right plus the finishing is similar to the expensive cables I have reviewed before in black + there are a few sprinkles of golden yellow grains too so it looks good & has a slight premium feel. The cable is also still relatively flexible & can be rolled up neatly. As for the jack & splitter, it's still quite okay, it doesn't seem cheap, although it's not really good either.

As for the fitting, it should be comfortable for many people, because it uses a smaller housing like the Yuin earbuds plus the material is also made of resin. So it's nice to wear for a long time and doesn't make you sick or sore like earbuds with a normal shape in general.

Bass

These Nicehck B80 earbuds have just enough bass with the sub-bass extension which is also just enough or not too deep. The midbass isn't the best either & the texture isn't that good either.

The only good thing is that the bass is typically clean, has good speed & has good control too. So for fast songs the B80 bass is better than for songs that require big bass or boom.

Mid

Well, the most interesting part of the B80 is in the mids for me, especially the vocals. This B80 has mids that are quite forward but not too forward and the weight is just right. Not thick but not too thin either.

The vocals themselves are a little more pleasant for female vocals. To be honest, the guy's vocals are a bit thick, but for me I can still enjoy the guy's vocals. Meanwhile, the female vocals are quite good with a clear, energetic, sweet & minimal sibilance or shouty vocal presentation.

Treble

As for the treble, the B80 is still in the smooth treble category or not the typical sparkling, very energetic or aggressive treble. Even though the treble is smooth, the presentation for me is still quite good. The impression of detail, the crispness of the treble is still delicious.

The treble extension is also quite good, the airy & open impression of the treble is still felt well. The most important thing is that there is no sharp impression or strange peaks so the treble is pleasant to enjoy for a long time.

Technical

Technically, this is also a good one for me. The details are good, the separation & positioning are also neat, the clarity is also okay, the transients are also good, the timbre is also natural & the soundstage is also spacious. Maybe the only thing that's lacking for me is the depth, which still feels sufficient so that the imaging still feels 2D.

Comparison

Nicehck B80 VS DailyMusik V3:

By memory, the V3 has even thinner tonal weight, both bass, vocals and treble. The most noticeable thing is that the treble is more sparkling, more energetic or has a wider treble than the B80. The technique is also better in detail & transient speed. Make Metalan V3 even better. It's just that the B80 is still good for metal, but it's not as fun as the V3. Otherwise, the B80 feels better, especially in many genres, especially for vocals.

Conclusion

Nicehck B80 are the newest earbuds from Nicehck which sell for around $33-$37. For the price, what I got makes me very satisfied. From good packaging, complete packaging, good build quality, both earbuds and cables & also the sound presentation which is quite good, although not perfect because there are still shortcomings in several aspects. But for me the lack of it is still at an acceptable or tolerable level.

Yes, in conclusion, for the price, it's a must try, especially for those who want to move from IEM or just want to refresh from IEM, hehehe.

Yes, that's all my review of the Nicehck B80.
Thank You.
Regards.

Roseselsa Aurora Ultra
Pros: - The best packaging
- Good female vocal presentation
- Comfortable fitting
Cons: - Build quality that seems cheap
- The technical presentation is not outstanding for a planar iem

Roseselsa Aurora Ultra: In terms of completeness, this brand is the champion...

IMG_20241222_142222.jpg

  • Before starting the review, I would like to thank HiFi Go for sending me this unit to try.
  • Disclaimer for this review, I used the full stock of the original IEM, including the cable, latex-like eartips (because I couldn't get the seal for the blue one), the original dongle & also the Fiio KA15.

IMG_20241221_005935.jpg

User Experience
  • First, from the unboxing experience, unboxing this Rose IEM was the most enjoyable experience among several brands that I tried. He didn't hold back in terms of completeness. He gave me 7 pairs of eartips, 4 of which were really good eartips for me with latex material plus the eartips case too, then I also got a cable with a fairly flexible sleeves material, he also got a hardcase that was quite large in size & the best thing that I've never gotten from an IEM at this price was that he gave me a DAC dongle that was similar to a Realtek dongle.
  • Second for build quality & fitting, This iem is made of plastic with a faceplate like aluminum. So the weight is very light so it makes this iem very comfortable in the ears for long-term use. It should also be noted that this iem is a bit tricky at first to pass the fitting that is comfortable in my ears but once it fits the fitting it will feel very comfortable.
  • Even though this iem is an iem with a 1 plannar + 1DD configuration, this iem is very light. By using the default dongle, it only needs about 40% volume, while using a cellphone only needs about 60%. So this iem has no issues or needs big power to bring out its potential, although I still recommend using a better source for a better experience.
IMG_20241219_191031.jpg

Sound Quality
  • For the sound impression this time I used Fiio KA15 to get maximum results.
  • The bass of this iem has sufficient quantity. The bass portion is slightly inclined towards the midbass. The bass presentation is quite tight, clean, the bass control is also good & the bass speed is also quite okay. For the subbass, the extension still feels sufficient, not too deep with mediocre rumbling.
  • The vocals might be the most prominent sector of this iem. The vocals feel quite forward with the right weight for female vocals, while for male vocals it might be a little less thick. The vocal presentation itself feels open, sweet, clear & energetic. For the sibilance, it might still be thin, but it's still at a safe stage for me. For instruments, both piano or acoustic guitar, the presentation is really nice, detailed, clear & separate. For the timbre, it still feels light, typical of plannar, but this feels better than some plannars that I've tried.
  • The treble of this iem is typically quite calm, not sparkling or energetic. It just still feels quite airy & extends.
  • The technical side is still quite good for its price. The stage is quite wide with sufficient depth & height. clarity feels clear, the resolution feels clear, the details are still okay even though it's not very detailed like this IEM, the separation is still quite neat & the transient speed is also still good. Overall for the price, the technique can still compete with its competitors.

IMG_20241222_142915.jpg

Comparison
  • Roseselsa Aurora Ultra VS 7hz Sonus: For the execution of bass & treble, it must be admitted that Sonus feels better, especially in both extensions, both subbass extension and treble extension. Only for the mid or vocal, Aurora Ultra feels much better execution. For the technicality, Sonus is slightly better, especially in stage & detail.
  • Roseselsa Aurora Ultra & EPZ Q5: Same as Sonus, the execution in bass & treble, EPZ Q5 is much better, even better than Sonus. The bass of Q5 feels deeper & the treble feels more extended. For the mid or vocal, Aurora Ultra is still slightly better, especially for female vocals, although in terms of timbre, Q5 feels more natural mid. For technical also feels Q5 still feels better than aurora ultra in my opinion. The stage feels more balanced both wide & height and depth, separation, layering, imaging & positioning feel better in Q5.

Conclusion
Roseselsa aurora ultra iem for $ 43.99 is a pretty interesting iem for me especially in terms of its completeness. This iem is really all out about completeness where there are rarely iems at this price that provide complete and artistic completeness. Then for the sound for me this iem is still classified as segmented or not for everyone. In my opinion this iem is suitable for those who need an iem that emphasizes the mid area or vocals especially female vocals, because for me this side of this iem is one of the best in its price class.

KZ Dawn
Pros: - Nice fitting
- Fun bass
- Pretty good vocal presentation
Cons: - The box & packaging is not good
- Build quality looks cheap
- Treble is not good for treble lovers
- Technically appropriate price

KZ Dawn: Doesn't look convincing...

IMG_20241113_004212.jpg

1. Intro
  • Previously for this review unit I got it from someone from abroad but I don't know who, so I just want to say thank you to the person who sent this unit for review.
  • For this review I used FIIO KA15 & its stock eartips.
  • A little info also this iem is still relatively light to be plugged directly using a cellphone, but I still recommend using a better source to maximize its potential. For my own use using FIIO KA15 with non desktop mode, I only use 40/120 volume.
  • For the completeness, it is still standard KZ in general.
  • Also info this KZ dawn is non detachable, so you can't replace the default cable.
  • For the quality, well, you could say it's according to the price. The housing is made of plastic & feels cheap. The cable & eartips are also still KZS (standard KZ).
  • Lastly for the fitting problem in the ear, this honestly feels good in my ears. It has a slightly smaller housing size compared to other kz iems, so it's really comfortable to wear in my ears.

2. Sound quality
  • Well, even though it doesn't look convincing physically, for me this dawn has a pretty good sound for its price of only $9.99. It has a characteristic warm V-shape sound that is dominant in the bass area.
  • The bass has a fairly large quantity but not yet at the basshead level, the bass character is still classified as fun. The subbass has a good extension & feels deep. The bass also has a pretty solid impact & a pretty good texture, but unfortunately the control is not that great, in songs that are dominant in bass sometimes it feels like the bass is bleed into the mids but it's not that bad, only in certain songs.
  • For the mids, the position is quite far behind the bass with a medium weight. For the vocal presentation, it also feels quite balanced between male & female vocals, it also feels like there is a little boost in the upper mid area. For the vocal character itself, Dawn is quite good for me, has the right weight, sweet, swinging & quite natural. For the clarity of the vocals, it is also surprisingly still quite good, not muffled or dull, still feels open or not restrained. For sibilance or shouty, it is safe here even at quite high volumes.
  • For the treble, the presentation is quite laid back & smooth with just enough extension but not to the point where the treble is lost or cut. The treble is actually good for those who are sensitive to treble, used for a long time does not make you tired quickly.
  • For the technicalities, it is according to the price, but I noticed a little even though the stage is not wide but it feels quite balanced between the width, height & depth. The rest is still according to the price.

3. Comparison:
KZ Dawn vs KZ EDC pro:
  • The bass is clearly bigger in the dawn, the quantity feels bigger, the subbass also feels better in the dawn extension, for the impact & texture it is also better in dawn for me, for the control & speed this time it feels better in edc pro & in edc pro the bass is safer not crossing over to the mid.
  • For the mid, dawn is more backward in position than edc pro, in terms of weight, dawn is also slightly thicker than edc pro, for the vocal presentation, edc pro is slightly more energetic & clearer than dawn which is smoother, sweeter & more weighty,
  • For the treble, edc pro feels more sparkling, more open & slightly better in extension than dawn.
  • For the technicalities, it's still the same class, not much different, at most the details are slightly better in edc pro.

4. Conclusion
KZ Dawn is the latest iem from kz with a price of around $9.99 (based on the website). Yes, for that price, the appearance looks appropriate for the price as well as the completeness which is still classified as KZS (KZ standard). Only for the sound, surprisingly for me it's quite okay even though there are still many shortcomings in some parts, especially in the technical, but for the price I have no complaints. At the price, for the sound I can enjoy it with enjoyment, it's enough for me. Overall my experience with this iem is quite satisfying for an iem with a price of only $ 9.99.

Kinera celest ignite X beast DSP
Pros: - Beautiful housing
- Good DSP cable quality
- Good external mic quality
- Clear vocals
- Great treble presentation
Cons: - Poor bass presentation, especially for bass lovers
- Vocals feel thin for someone
- Eartips that are not comfortable when used

Kinera celest ignite X beast 'DSP': Just take the DSP...

IMG_20241107_134056.jpg

1. Intro
  • Before starting this review, I would like to thank HIFIGO for the unit & giving me the trust to review this.
  • Disclaimer this review is purely based on my personal opinion & for this review I also use the stock components from the kinera. Like the eartips I use which are similar to the AET07 eartips & also use the DSP cable that came with it.

2. User experience
  • From the box & accessories, this iem has a fairly small & simple box, while the accessories can be said to be quite interesting. In addition to getting the iem, we will also get 6 pairs of eartips, 3 of which are similar to the AET07 eartips, In addition, for the unit I got, I got a DSP cable with a detachable external mic & the last one in this unit also got foam for the mic.
IMG_20241106_193358.jpg

  • For the build quality, it's quite good for the price. This iem is made of full resin material with quite good quality. The cable is also still okay, quite flexible & not easily tangled.
  • For the fitting, in my ears it's honestly not that comfortable, especially when using the external mic. So sometimes I have to press the IEM part to find the right fitting in my ears. Sometimes I'm more comfortable using aftermarket eartips, because the default eartips don't really seal my ears.
  • For the external mic itself, it can be said to be good, clean & clear sound produced by the mic. Well, a little illustration if the mic from the IEM usually gets a score of 7/10, if the external mic from the IgniteX beast is 9/10. Suitable for games, calls, or making videos. It just needs to be noted, if people with big cheeks will feel uncomfortable because the position of the mic is quite pressing.
  • Last, for the power issue, for my use it is plugged directly into my cellphone, namely the Redmi Note 10 Pro. It's quite comfortable at a volume of 60%. So there shouldn't be any problems with this.

3. Sound quality
  • Maybe as a comparison, for the sound I will directly compare the performance of the Celest Ignite X beast DSP version with the 3.5mm version by plugging it into the Celest CD-20 DAC that I have previously reviewed.
IMG_20241004_003059.jpg

  • In terms of sound direction, this DSP version does not change much from the regular version, but there are some slight differences that I think make this DSP version better than the regular version.
  • First, from the bass, in terms of quantity, it can be said that it is still the same, from the subbass extension it is also similar. Only in terms of texture & impact in the midbass, this DSP version is slightly better than the regular version for me.
  • For the mid, in terms of position or weight, it also does not change much, the vocal presentation is still similar. With a portion of vocals that tend to be dominant in female vocals with an energetic, clear, sweet & clear presentation. It's just that maybe I feel a little bit that in the regular version the sibilance symptom occasionally appears but in this DSP version it tends to be safe.
  • For the treble, it can be said to be similar, typically energetic, open, detailed with a fairly good extension. It's just that there may be a slight impression of intensity that makes it feel tiring if listened to for a long time.
  • For the technical side, it's also the same, not much has changed with the regular version plugged into the CD-20. The stage is medium, the detail is good, the separation & layering are also quite neat & the clarity and transient are good. Yes, overall for the price, the technical side is quite good & quite competitive although it's not yet on par with the PR2.

4. Comparison
  • Kinera Celest Ignite X 'DSP' vs TRN Conch: The bass is almost similar in quantity, the subbass extension feels better in the conch. The midbass also feels better in the conch from the texture or impact. For the mid, the weight is also similar, only the position of the conch feels a little further back. For the vocal presentation, both have good clarity, it feels like both have clear vocals, only in the ignite X beast the sweet impression feels better & safer from sibilance. For the treble, both have energetic, detailed & open treble, only the extension & airy impression in the treble feels better on the conch. For the technicalities themselves, from the stage, detail, separation and layering, it feels better on the conch, especially if the conch uses a 4.4mm jack. The conch feels more technically superior than the DSP version of the ignite X beast.

5. Who is the Kinera celest ignite X beast suitable for?
  • For those who want to practically plug it directly into a cellphone.
  • For those who need an iem with an external mic for certain purposes such as playing games, etc.
  • For those who like clear mids with a fairly forward position & energetic treble and good detail.

IMG_20241004_002444.jpg

6. Conclusion

Kinera celest ignite X beast DSP version, this iem for me is an interesting option for the ignite X beast series. It offers a slight difference in sound that makes me rate this DSP version better than the regular version. Plus it also has a good quality external mic so it adds value to this DSP version.

ROSESELSA Earfree i5
Pros: - Good value
- Complete features and works well
- Beautiful voice
- Clear mic
- Solid build quality
Cons: - The EQ 'LIGHT' setting is very bad

Roseselsa Earfree i5: Has a good value.

IMG_20241105_100206.jpg

1. Intro
  • Before starting the review, I would like to thank Roseselsa Silence for sending this unit for review.
  • Disclaimer: This review may be subjective based on my personal experience over the past few days.

2. User Experience
  • First, the completeness is standard, this Earfree i5, apart from the TWS itself, provides 3 pairs of eartips & an A to C cable for charging.
IMG_20241105_100004.jpg

  • The build is solid, both the TWS and the case. There is no bad & cheap impression.
  • For the fitting issue, when used I feel comfortable even though it is used for a long time. There are no complaints at all in this case for me.
  • For the TWS features, it is complete, yes, there are several features that I think are quite useful such as noise control, super master EQ etc.
  • For noise control features such as ANC, wind noise, transparency or even normal mode, in my opinion, there is no gimmick. Everything feels like it works well. Everything can be set via touch control or via the ROSELINK application.
Screenshot_2024-11-05-02-23-10-248_cn.ikaile.ruoshui.client-edit.jpg

  • For EQ settings, there are 4 sets, namely POP, HIFI, ROCK & LIGHT. I myself prefer to use the POP set, it feels the best for me, all frequencies are executed well. For the HIFI set, it is almost similar to the POP, only it feels more bassy, the mid is a little weighty & the treble is a little smoother, for the ROCK it feels like the mid is a little highlighted so the low & high sectors feel a little backwards & for the LIGHT, this EQ is the least recommended for me, the bass feels cut a lot, the mid feels thin and the treble is a little aggressive.
Screenshot_2024-11-05-02-23-26-842_cn.ikaile.ruoshui.client-edit.jpg

  • For durability, the TWS in my use uses LDAC mode, the volume is around 60-70% & the use varies such as games, music & watching tiktok or youtube. One use can last up to 6-7 hours. While the case can last up to 3 days without charging.
  • Last, this TWS also supports gaming mode which is quite useful when playing games & supports IPX5 which means it is resistant to water spray or sweat.

3. Complete Specifications
  • Driver Unit: 10mm DLC Dynamics
  • Audio Format: LDAC/ AAC/ mSBC/ SBC
  • Impedance: 32 Ω
  • Output Power: 15 mW
  • Frequency Response Range: 14 - 23600 Hz
  • Bluetooth Version: 5.3
  • Communication Range: 10 m
  • Earphone Battery Capacity: 40 mAh
  • Charging Case Battery Capacity: 500 mAh
  • Charging Time: Approx. 1h

4. Sound Quality

IMG_20241105_100536.jpg

  • For this review, I used the LDAC setting, set EQ POP & Volume around 70%. The basic sound of this i5 Earfree still feels v-shaped to me.
  • The bass has a medium quantity with the subbass feeling quite deep. For the midbass, it has a fairly solid impact with a texture that is still quite good. For the control, it also feels quite good and the speed of the bass also feels quite good, when used for double pedaling it still feels quite good.
  • For the mid, it has a fairly good weight. Its position is slightly behind the bass & treble. There is also a boost in the uppermid area which makes the vocals lean more towards female vocals. The presentation is quite clear, energetic, quite sweet & feels loose. It's good for female vocals here in my opinion. For shouty or sibilance, it is still minimal here.
  • For the treble, the presentation is quite energetic, open, detailed, the extension is also still quite good & the airy impression is still there. For peak or harsh, it's safe here.
  • For the technical, it also feels quite good for me. The stage is quite wide and the height & depth are also quite okay, the details also feel good & the separation and layering also feel neat. Plus the clarity & resolution are also quite okay for a TWS priced around $ 70.

5. Comparison
  • Roseselsa Earfree i5 vs Roseselsa Ceramics X: Ceramics X feels more neutral than i5. The bass feels thinner & the vocal weight is also slightly thinner on Ceramics x. For the treble, Ceramics x feels a little more energetic with a slightly better extension. For the technical side, Ceramics x is slightly better in detail, clarity & resolution.

IMG_20240920_145501.jpg

IMG_20241105_100206.jpg

6. Roseselsa Earfree i5 Who is it for?
  • For those who need TWS with lots of features but all of those features work, not just for display or gimmick.
  • For those who want TWS with a sound that tends to be v-shaped & fun.

7. Conclusion

IMG_20241105_100402.jpg

Earfree i5 is the latest TWS from the Roseselsa brand which I think is good. It offers good value for around $70. Maybe in terms of features there are several brands that offer more complete features, but for me this i5 is quite complete for its features plus all of its features function as they should or you could say no gimmick. In addition, it also offers a sound that can be said to be quite mature for a TWS priced at $ 70. Yes, with all that Earfree i5 offers, for me it is worth trying at its price.

CCZ SOLO DC02
Pros: - PERFECT FOR BASS LOVERS
- FUN & DEEP BASS
- BALANCED VOCAL WITH THE RIGHT WEIGHT
- RELAXED TREBLE
- TECHNICAL IS QUITE GOOD FOR THE PRICE
Cons: - POOR CABLE & EARTIPS
- LESS ENERGY VOCAL FOR FEMALE VOCAL
- LESS PLEASANT TREBLE FOR TREBLE LOVERS

CCZ SOLO DC02: At least the sound is right!!!

IMG_20241031_235133.jpg

  • I got this review unit from a giveaway from Keephifi.
  • In this review, I used full stock of cables and eartips. For the source, I used FIIO KA15 with a volume of around 50/120 non-desktop mode on the 3.5mm jack.

USER EXPERIENCE
IMG_20241031_232938.jpg

  • First, for the accessories, yes, typical of cheap chifi in the past, very minimalist, consisting only of braided cables whose quality is somewhat lacking & prone to tangling and eartips that are not good in terms of material or comfort. For the housing, the quality is also similar to old cheap chifi whose quality is just ordinary. consisting of a plastic housing and a metal faceplate with a DOP finishing.
  • Second, for the fitting, yes, no complaints, not really good but still comfortable enough to wear.
  • For the iem itself, it is still quite light, plugged using a cellphone is still quite enjoyable for me. But I still recommend at least using a dongle to maximize the sound.

SOUND QUALITY
IMG_20241102_004112.jpg

  • Well, basically this IEM for me still feels v-shaped with a warm impression that focuses on the low to midrange area.
  • The bass itself has a fairly large quantity but not to the point of being over boomy, let alone dominant. The subbass feels deep with a rumble that feels quite okay. While the midbass has a fairly solid impact with a fairly good texture. The control also still feels quite good, while the speed is only medium.
  • For the mid, its position is behind the bass with a slightly warm presentation. The vocals are quite balanced between male and female vocals. The male vocals feel the right weight, while the female vocals feel quite smooth, a little thick & free from peaks or sibilance. But it feels a little less energetic & less loose for my taste.
  • For the treble, the presentation is rather smooth with sufficient extension & minimal peaks or harsh. Yes, this treble is suitable for those who are sensitive to treble & also good for long listening.
  • For the technical side, it's still pretty good for its price, the Stage is still quite spacious although not very wide. The separation can also be said to be okay. And the details can still be felt several times. Yes, the most lacking in resolution, transient and imaging feel a bit lacking.

COMPARISON
CCZ Solo vs EPZ Q1 Pro: The Q1 pro bass feels thinner than the solo, for the mids the weight also feels thinner than the solo. For the vocals on the Q1 pro, it feels better on the female vocals which feel clearer, more energetic & more free than in the solo. For the treble, it also feels more energetic & the extension feels better on the Q1 pro. For the technical side, the Q1 pro also feels better, the stage is wider, the separation is neater, the details are better and the resolution is better than in the solo.

WHO IS CCZ SOLO SUITABLE FOR?
  • For those who need a warm iem with big bass but the presentation is still fun.
  • For those who like IEMs with balanced vocals between male and female vocals, with body and a bit relaxed.
  • For those who are sensitive to treble.

CONCLUSION
CCZ Solo DC02 is the latest IEM from a brand that can be said to be quite old among the onslaught of several new brands today. CCZ Solo appeared in an era that was quite fierce in its price range, if we look at the completeness or build quality, it can be said to be less competitive while for the sound it might still be competitive but to enter the top ranks at a price of $ 20 I think it's a bit difficult considering its competitors who have quite mature sound. Maybe if this IEM appeared 1-2 years ago it could compete for the best, but for me now it's a bit difficult. But overall I still appreciate the sound, I can still accept it & listen to it with enjoyment even though I'm disappointed with the completeness which feels less comfortable to use, especially the eartips.

C2 2025: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE WITH THE OLD C2 VERSION???

IMG_20241024_011317.jpg

  • This review unit was sent directly from China by Tin Hifi directly. So I would like to say thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to review it.
  • Disclaimer in this review I use full stock eartips & cables and FIIO KA15 dongle dac as the source. This review is also subjective from what I felt during 3 days of intensive use.

User Experience
  • First of all, in terms of its completeness, this C2 2025 is honestly almost no different from the old C2 in terms of its completeness. The only difference is the cable which is braided & seems more flexible than the old C2. As for the eartips, I still find them okay to use even though they are not very comfortable, so for this IEM I recommend using aftermarket eartips for more comfort.
  • The build quality is also almost not much different apart from the cable mentioned earlier. Because the iem can be said to be 100% similar to the old C2.
  • Yes, because the shape of the housing is similar to the old C2, so in terms of fitting it is similar to the old version. Yes, for me who has ears that are quite friendly to many forms of iem, this C2 2025 is still considered fine-fine even though it is not as good as hola or yume 2.
  • Lastly, for the potential problem, I suggest using at least a dongle like ks01 & do not recommend using a cellphone directly. As an illustration, I use KA15 in jack 3.5 SE low gain & non-desktop mode, to bring out its potential it must be at least with a volume of around 50-60%.

IMG_20241026_010414.jpg

Sound quality
  • This iem is actually not much different from the previous version for me. Not like the previous version which was a bit bright & this version is the warm version. Well, in my opinion it's not like that, this version is more about giving a slight difference in several sectors for me.
  • From the bass, the C2 2025 is more like a little added quantity & the subbass is a little deeper than the old C2 version. The rest can be said to be similar to the old version.
  • For the mids, it also feels similar to the old one in terms of weight & presentation. Only a little maybe like the vocals are not as intense & safer from the sibilance of the old C2.
  • For the treble, it can also be said that there is almost no difference. In terms of presentation, it is still energetic, the details & extensions are still good. Maybe the old C2 feels a little more sharp sensation, while the C2 2025 is safer.
  • For the technicalities, it is also similar, for the price it is included as a good one. The soundstage is quite wide, the micro details are quite good, the separation & layering are also quite neat & the resolution is good.

IMG_20241026_010630.jpg

Comparison
  • C2 2025 vs EPZ Q1 Pro: The bass of the C2 feels better in extension, the subbass feels deeper than the Q1 pro. For the vocals, Q! pro feels more advanced, more appropriate weight, sweeter. While in C2 2025 the vocals feel a little thinner but feel clearer & a little clearer. For the treble, C2 2025 is clearly better, especially from its extension which is better & more airy. For the technicalities, both are still the same for me. The soundstage is still wider in Q1 pro, only in C2 2025 it feels more balanced. The details, the resolution are also slightly better in C2 2025.

Who is C2 2025 Suitable for?
  • For those who need an all-rounder iem, yes because in my opinion this iem is classified as an all-rounder & is able to accommodate many genres except genres that require really big bass.
  • For those who need an iem with good tonal but still get good technicalities at a relatively cheap price plus this iem is still relatively easy to drive using a cheap source.

Conclusion
Tin Hifi C2 2025 is the latest iem from Tin Hifi which is intended to be the successor to the previous C2. Can this iem be said to be different or an upgrade from the previous version? For me, no, you could say that this iem only brings a little variation in some parts of the previous version. So for me, the C2 2025 is just a little refresh from the old C2 version. So if you have an old C2 & want to buy this version, for me it's better to just stay. But if you don't have the old version, I recommend buying this version rather than the older version.

SEEAUDIO YUME 2: IS IT GOOD FOR $200?

IMG_20241016_110926.jpg

  • I bought this IEM myself at the omega audio store.
  • This review is purely subjective based on my personal experience for 1 week.
  • For this review, I purely used the full stock of cables & eartips supported by the FIIO KA15 source as the source.

User Experience
  • First from the box & accessories, this IEM has a pleasant unboxing feel for me. The box looks luxurious & good looking, the accessories are also quite good. There is the IEM itself. there is also a good quality Hard case, Good & flexible cable, Eartips that feel similar to KBEAR07, a manual & some waifu-style postcards.
  • The build quality is also quite good, this IEM is made of solid fullmetal material.
  • For the fitting, this IEM is quite comfortable for me even using the original eartips & cables. The feel fit is similar to the Truthear HOLA which is one of the most comfortable fitting iems for me. Moreover, this iem is also lightweight so it is very comfortable to use for a long time.
  • For power, this iem is still relatively light but you still have to use a dongle at least for a better experience. As an illustration, I use FIIO KA15, I need 70/120 power on the 3.5mm jack in non-desktop mode or low gain.

IMG_20241016_111458.jpg

Sound Quality
  • This IEM has a mild v-shape warm characteristic for me. The bass has a medium quantity with a focus on the midbass. The subbass has a sufficient extension, not too deep. For the midbass, it has a fairly good impact & texture and is supported by good control. In terms of speed, it is also still okay even though it is not very fast. Overall, the bass is still in the fun category for me.
  • For the mid, its position is right in the middle, the vocal presentation is slightly more dominant for the female vocal. For the male vocal, it is still quite enjoyable even though it is a little lacking in weight. For the female vocals, the weight feels right, not too thin, it feels swinging too, the emotions are still there, quite natural & sweet. For shouty or sibilance, it's safe here. For the instruments, it's also good, it feels quite open, biting, doesn't feel mixed & the timbre also feels natural.
  • For the treble, the presentation is also good. Quite energetic, detailed, the body is also right & the extension also feels good. For peak or grainy, it's still safe here.
  • For the technical side, the price is still quite okay, although not as good as plannar & some hybrid iems that I've tried. From the stage, it's still quite wide, although in terms of height & depth it's quite adequate, for the separation & layering it's also still presented very well, for the details or microdetails it's also still good for the price, for the resolution, clarity & timbre it's also still good. Overall, technically it's still quite good for me in its price class.

IMG_20241016_111306.jpg

Comparison
  • SeeAudio Yume 2 vs Oxygen 2023: From the bass, oxygen is slightly bigger with a slightly better subbass extension, the midbass also has a more impact and the texture is also better. but from the control and speed, yume 2 feels better. For the mid, the position of oxy is slightly further back and the weight is slightly thinner than yume 2. in terms of vocal presentation, oxy feels clearer, cleaner, more energetic and slightly more natural, while in yume 2 it feels more bodied, more swinging, sweeter and slightly smoother. For the treble, Oxy feels more energetic, but the extension feels better in yume 2. For technical reasons, this can be said to be a plus-minus. From the stage, oxy feels more balanced even though in terms of width, yume 2 feels wider, for separation, detail, micro detail, yume 2 is better, but in terms of imaging, clarity, resolution and timbre, oxy feels better. Overall, both of them can be said to be balanced & have their own advantages and disadvantages.

Who is SeeAudio Yume 2 suitable for?
  • For those who want to try a hybrid iem but still want to get a natural timbre.
  • For those looking for a fun iem with a fairly balanced presentation & good technicality at a price of $200.
  • For those looking for a refinement of the old yume? I used to try the old yume but forgot to remember, but what is certain is that this treble & technicality is better than the old yume.
  • Of course for those who like waifu boxes, this box is really good, haha,

Conclusion
SeeAudio Yume 2 is an iem that is actually good for me for its price. But for some reason, rarely anyone discusses it even though the packaging is also quite attractive with its waifu box. Honestly, I myself was a bit hesitant to blind buy this IEM because it was rarely discussed, but after trying it I was quite happy because besides getting an IEM with quite attractive packaging, the tone is also quite neat & the technique is still quite competitive in its price class. Well, overall my blind buy can be said to be quite satisfying & not a dud haha.

FOSI AUDIO DS1
Pros: - Fun bass
- Nice vocal weight
- Smooth treble
- Solid build quality
Cons: - Minimal features
- Treble is not suitable for treblehead
- Sharp corners on the body

FOSI AUDIO DS1: PLUG & PLAY...

IMG_20241005_003254.jpg

1. INTRO

  • Before starting the review, I would like to thank Fosi Audio for sending this unit for review.
  • Disclaimer: This review is purely my own opinion based on my experience of using it for several days without any interference from others.
  • For this review, I used the Kinera Celest IgniteX Beast iem & Tripowin 4.4mm cable.

2. User Experience

  • First, the build quality, the DS1 is made of a fairly solid material, namely full metal or if specified it is called Tin Alloy. In addition, the DS1 has a fairly heavy weight & also sharp corners so it must be considered again in its use. The quality of the C to C cable is quite good, long & flexible enough so that it is more comfortable to use.
  • Second, regarding features, the DS1 can be said to be a plug & play dongle because the features offered are very minimal. The only thing that seems useful is the independent volume feature, the rest just seem like decoration like the high performance feature. My suggestion would be more useful if this feature was replaced with a gain switch.
  • Third, in terms of temperature & power, this DS1 has a relatively warm temperature but is still within reasonable limits, not to the point of causing an over temperature or making it uncomfortable to use. While in terms of power, it is also quite ordinary, not economical but not wasteful either. During 1 hour of use using a 4.4mm cable with a volume of 40-50% I used up 10% of my cellphone battery.
  • Lastly, regarding power, this DS1 has quite good power but not over power either, it should be good enough for most IEMs. I tested it with the IgniteX Beast with its stock cable at a volume of around 50% which was comfortable enough for my use.

IMG_20241006_182738.jpg

3. Sound Quality

  • For me, this DS1 has a slightly warm neutral characteristic, with a tendency towards the musical rather than the analytical.
  • From the bass, when I installed it on my IEM, this DS1 felt like it added a little quantity. The subbass feels a little deeper, while the midbass feels punchier but still well controlled. Overall, the bass feels a little more fun than the initially boring bass on the IgniteX Beast.
  • The mid of the DS1 makes the mid of the IgniteX Beast more substantial. The vocals become smoother, more swinging, a little thicker & more natural.
  • The treble feels smoother but not too smooth or cut treble. So it feels better for long listening.
  • Technically, there are not many changes, only the stage feels a little wider & the separation is a little neater.

IMG_20241006_182258.jpg

4. Comparison

  • Fosi Audio DS1 vs Akliam PD6: PD6 is clearly better in terms of user experience because it offers more complete features. While in terms of sound, both have different directions, PD6 feels more neutral with minimal MSG or not much change in tonal direction, while DS1 is more towards the warm which makes the sound feel more musical or more fun, especially in the low to midrange area. In terms of technical PD6 is clearly better, feels better in many aspects than DS1.

5. Who is Fosi Audio DS1 suitable for?

  • Suitable for those who need a simple plug & play dongle, who don't want to bother with settings.
  • Suitable for those who like a slightly warm sound direction.
  • Suitable for pairing with a slightly bright IEM or one that has a slightly thin tonal weight.

IMG_20241006_182452.jpg

6. Conclusion

Fosi Audio DS1 is an interesting DAC dongle in terms of sound & can compete with competitors in its price class. But it is very unfortunate to be honest for me in terms of features or user experience offered by this dongle is less competitive for its price class, where many of its competitors offer much better features & user experience. But it all comes back if you don't need those features, this dongle is perfect because it has sound that I think is good for the price.

KZ CAROL

- Good Tonality

- Nice earphone design
Cons: - Technical average

- Poor build quality

KZ CAROL: FUN FOR EVERYDAY LIFE...

IMG_20240922_131056.jpg

1. INTRO

  • Before the review, I would like to thank KATE & KZ official for sending a sample of this unit for review.
  • Disclaimer: This review is purely based on my experience in several days of use, whether listening to music, playing games or just watching videos.

2. Completeness

  • This KZ Carol has very minimalist completeness. In the sales package there are only TWS & 3 pairs of eartips without a c to c cable or charger head for charging & also a protective case. To be honest, this part is a bit lacking because the usual competitor TWS at least includes a c to c cable for charging.

IMG_20240922_131356.jpg

3. Specifications

  • Brand name: KZ
  • Product model: KZ Carol
  • Bluetooth version: 5.3
  • Transmission protocol: SBC, AAC
  • Transmission distance: About 15m
  • Earphone battery life: About 6H
  • Earphone capacity: 40mAh
  • Charging case capacity: 400mAh
  • Charging port: Type-C

4. Features

  • KZ Carol has 2 main features that I think are very useful & no gimmick. Namely the ANC & Transparency mode features. Both when used are very different from the normal mode. To operate it, you can touch & hold for 2 seconds on the left earphone.
  • KZ Carol also has a gaming mode feature which unfortunately almost doesn't feel any different at all when activated or deactivated. But in terms of basic performance for the gaming experience, I think it's good. To operate it, you can touch the right or left earphone 4 times quickly.
  • Start Siri (Voice Assistant) which can be used by touching & holding for 2 seconds on the right earphone.
  • Touch once to play & pause.
  • Double tap on the right earphone for the next song & double tap on the left earphone for the previous song.
  • Touch once to answer the phone & 2x to reject the phone.

5. User experience

  • First of all, from the fitting. Honestly, my ears are still comfortable to wear, but for long-term use, it still feels tired or stuffy because of the rather large nozzle effect. So for those with small ears, you need to pay attention.
  • For the durability of the earphones, during my use, I can get up to 8 hours with various usage modes between listening to music, playing games, watching TikTok, YouTube or movies. using normal mode & volume around 60-80%.
  • For the durability of the case, honestly, I have only charged it once from this unit to me 5 days ago where I charged it 3 days ago. For charging the earphones, I only charged the earphones with the case once from 0%. the rest of the usage is around 30-50%. So this case is also okay for power issues.
  • For volume issues, to listen to music I usually enjoy it with a volume of 60-70%. So for me there is no problem with this.
  • For the build quality, the KZ Carol is made of full plastic, both the earphones and the case. Yes, it seems less solid but on the one hand the weight is lighter & comfortable to listen to for a long time.

6. Sound

  • The KZ Carol has a fun sound character. Typical which tends to be v-shaped with a focus on the bass area.
  • The bass has a medium quantity with a focus on the midbass area. The subbass has a sufficient extension, while the midbass has a presentation that is quite impactful, the texture is also still okay, from the control for me it is also quite good at making the bass safe from crossing over to the mid & for the speed it is medium, not fast but not slow.
  • For the mid, its position is behind the bass but the presentation is still quite clear, not covered by the bass. The weight is also medium so the vocals feel quite balanced between the male and female vocals. The vocal presentation itself is quite smooth, natural & free of peaks or sibilance.
  • As for the treble, the presentation is quite smooth but not too dark. The treble extension is also sufficient, but it doesn't roll off. Yes, overall the treble is good for long listening & those who are sensitive to treble.
  • Technically, it's just standard, it's like a $10 IEM. The stages are just standard, either left-right or up-down. the detail, separation, layering & imaging are still okay compared to TWS at the same price. Just a little better, but not to the point where it's really great.

IMG_20240919_222017.jpg

7. Comparison

  • KZ Carol VS Moondrop Block: Yes, maybe this is not right but to be honest, I have never bought TWS in the $20 price range. I have only ever bought a block because I rarely use TWS. When talking about features, the block is clearly inferior to this carol. If the sound from the bass, the block's bass also feels thinner & a bit hollow, the effect is that it is indeed an earbud model. For the mids, the block also feels thinner & the vocals are a bit less free than the carol. For the treble, the block is slightly more energetic & the extension is slightly better than the carol. For the technical aspects, the block is also inferior to this carol. In terms of user experience, the block is also inferior to this carol, both in terms of fitting and power endurance. Overall, this block can be said to be inferior in all aspects to this carol for me.

8. Who is the KZ Carol suitable for?

  • For those who need a TWS with ANC features at a price of $20.
  • For those who need a TWS with fun sound at a price of $20.
  • For those who need TWS at a price of $ 20 for daily use.

9. Conclusion

KZ Carol is the latest product from kz which for me is quite interesting in its price range. In addition to having a fun sound, it also has features that are mostly useful, one of which is the ANC feature which for me is really real, no gimmick application. In addition, from the user experience, the majority are quite comfortable for daily use. Yes, overall for the price of $ 20 I say this is quite good & a must try if you want to find TWS in the price range of $ 20.

ROSESELSA CERAMICS X: GOOD FOR $50?

User experience

- First, let's talk about the build quality. The build of this Ceramics x is still quite good even though it is made of plastic. the execution feels neat & solid enough both tws and the case.

Screenshot_2024-09-20-22-08-59-765_cn.ikaile.ruoshui.client-edit.jpg

- Ceramics X also has several features to support users that can be applied via touch & via application, such as:
  • - Noise control which has 4 types, namely normal mode, Noise canceling, wind noise & transparency. Where all of them can feel the difference between one and the other, aka no gimmick.
  • - 3 types of auto EQ, namely POP which feels a bit warm, smooth & a bit dull, HIFI which tends to be a bit balanced in all sectors & ROCK which has a slightly V-shaped sound where the bass & treble feel boosted. These three EQs can be said to be no gimmick because all of them feel the difference. But unfortunately there is no manual EQ here, so we can't adjust the EQ manually according to our wishes.

Screenshot_2024-09-20-22-09-15-814_cn.ikaile.ruoshui.client-edit.jpg

- 3 types of audio codecs SBC, AAC & LDAC (LDAC is really cool for music).
- Game mode which unfortunately doesn't feel any different when activated or deactivated.
- Dual device connection.
- For durability based on my experience using normal & LDAC mode for 3 hours with a volume of around 70%, it consumes around 40% power.
- For the battery backup on the case, it can be said to be good. After using it for 4 days where I use it for about 4-5 hours every day, the battery backup only shows an indication that the remaining battery is below 30%. as additional information:
  • The green case indicator is 70% battery <
  • The white case indicator is 30%-70% battery
  • The red case indicator is 30% battery>
- The case charging is also relatively fast. When I charged from 30% to 100% it only took about 1 hour.
- For the fitting problem, it is quite good for me, there are no complaints at all about the fitting. feels fit, comfortable & also supported by its light weight so it is very comfortable to use for a long time.
- For the microphone, in my opinion, it is still standard. Not good but not bad either for the size of TWS.
- It also supports IPX5 where it is resistant to sweat or splashes of water such as light rain. Not recommended for swimming or other water activities.

Sound quality

- Just for info, for this review I used Normal Mode, LDAC & auto EQ which is HIFI. Because in my opinion this combination is the most comfortable for listening to music.
- Roselsa Ceramics X has a sound direction that tends to be V-Shape for me, by highlighting the uppermid to treble.
- The bass has sufficient quantity with a focus on the subbass area. The subbass is quite deep with a rumble that is still quite okay for me. For the midbass, it has an impact that is not so strong. In terms of texture, it is also not that good. As for the speed, it is still good, when double pedaled it is still good. The control is also still okay so the bass is safe from crossing over to the mid.
- For the mid, the position is slightly backward with a slightly thin weight. So the male vocals feel less pleasant to me. For the female vocals, it feels more dominant with a boost effect in the upper mid area. The presentation is quite energetic, clear, quite clear & sweet. For the thin sibilance, it is still felt but still at a safe stage. For the instruments, it also feels quite loose, detailed & natural.
- For the treble, the presentation is quite energetic, open & detailed. It just feels a bit intense so it feels quite tiring to use for a long time. For the treble extension, it is also still good, it feels right to the end & the airy impression is still felt.
- For the technicalities, for me, it is still plus-minus. The plus is that it has details, separation & layering, which can be said to be good for TWS at its price. The clarity & transient are also still quite okay. But for the stage, it seems a bit lacking, the right and left feel a bit narrow with a height that is also a bit lacking, but for the depth it is still okay. For the imaging, it also feels lacking, the pin point still feels less precise.

Comparison

Roseselsa Ceramics X VS Moondrop Kuroneko: If we talk about user experience, to be honest, nekocake is inferior to ceramics X, both in terms of features and battery life. Nekocake's sound has a similar bass quantity. But the subbass on ceramics X feels deeper & the rumble feels more solid. Nekocake's mid position feels a little more forward & a little more weighty. The vocals feel a little smoother & a little less free for me. For the treble, you could say that nekocake feels smoother & less energetic when compared to ceramics X, the extension is also not as good as ceramics X. For the technicality, it also feels not as good as ceramics X. Yes, overall, for the price, in terms of user experience or sound, I choose ceramics X.

Who is Roselsa Ceramics X suitable for?

  • For those looking for tws with lots of features including LDAC under $ 50.
  • For those who want to find tws with good sound quality, not just any sound at a price of $ 50.
  • Like female vocals? Like acoustics? Like Japanese? You can try here. with LDAC & auto EQ Hifi mode that has a balanced sound. The musical feel with these criteria feels really good, not inferior to IEMs in its price class.
  • For those who need tws with a fairly long usage period in this case, battery life & it doesn't take long to charge it.

Conclusion

Roseselsa Ceramics X is one of the interesting tws at a price of $ 50. It has many interesting features, especially in the LDAC, Noise control & auto EQ features that don't seem gimmicky. In addition, the sound quality is also quite good in my opinion for a tws at its price. Overall, I quite enjoy using it in my daily life, so I think Roselsa Ceramics X is a tws that is worth trying at its price range.

Simgot EW300
Pros: - Good build quality
- Good bass execution
- Great vocal execution
- Good treble
- Good technical execution for the price
Cons: - Poor quality cable
- Not suitable for bassheads
- Male vocals are not as pleasant as female vocals

SIMGOT EW300: JUST TRY IT!!!

IMG_20240902_001729.jpg

1. Intro

  • This review unit I bought myself at the "Omega Audio Store" & what I'm reviewing this time is the standard version.
  • For this review I used the EPZ TP20 Pro source on the 3.5mm low gain jack. Just for additional info, this IEM needs quite a bit of power, I plugged it into the TP20 Pro and needed around 60-70% volume on the 3.5 low gain jack. So for this IEM I recommend using at least a source equivalent to the KS01 for comfort.
  • For the completeness, it can be said to be standard simgot. Consisting of the IEM itself, a cable similar to the em6l. 3 pairs of eartips, hardcase & additional components such as gold spare nozzles, several spare rings for nozzles & several foam dumpers (maybe for passive tuning?).
  • For the build quality of this IEM, it is quite good. Made of solid fullmetal, For the cable is still okay even though it's not the best, at least it can be used & comfortable & the simgot eartips are not the best in terms of sound or comfort but still usable.

2. Sound quality

- Silver Nozzle:
  • The bass has a medium quantity with a focus on the subbass. The subbass has a good extension that feels deep with a good rumble. For the midbass, it also has a good impact even though it's not really a punchy one. In terms of texture, it's also quite good and balanced with good control & speed.
  • For the mid, the weight is sufficient with a position slightly behind the bass. The vocals have a portion that tends to be female vocals, the effect of the boost in the uppermid. The vocal presentation is quite energetic, clear, feels loose & quite clear. For sibilance or peak, it's also safe here. For the instruments, they are also addictive, feel biting, open details & feel separated well and the timbre also still feels quite natural.
  • For the treble in the lower treble, the presentation is quite energetic & detailed but not to the point of being over or aggressive. For the upper treble, the extension feels good, the airy impression is also steady & the cymbal hits feel steady without the impression of piercing or harsh.
  • For the technical side, for the price, it is one of the best. The stage feels quite balanced, the right-left & top-bottom presentation is quite good. For the micro details, it is presented well, the imaging is also quite precise, the separation also feels neat, the clarity is also good, feels clear & the transient also feels steady.

- Gold nozzle:

  • The bass has a slightly larger quantity & feels more punchy than the silver one. Only in terms of control & speed, it is more fun in silver.
  • The mids are slightly more weighty with a slightly smoother vocal presentation. The vocals are not too loose & as clear as the silver nozzle.
  • For the treble, it also feels a little smoother.
  • For the technical side, the micro details, clarity and transients are not as good as the silver nozzle.

3. Comparison

- Simgot EW300 VS 7hz sonus:
  • The bass of EW300 feels more weighty & more fun.
  • The vocals feel more forward, more energetic & clearer in EW300, while in sonus the vocals feel sweeter & feel calmer.
  • For treble in EW300 feels more energetic, more detailed & slightly better extension.
  • For technical most feel in EW300 micro detail is better, the stage also feels more balanced although the width of right-left is slightly better in sonus, same as clarity in EW300 feels clearer.

4. Who is Simgot ew300 suitable for???

  • EW200 or Conch users are suitable for upgrading here thinly.
  • For those who like energetic, clear or loose vocals. suitable for female vocals j-pop model suis, ikumi hasegawa or reona.
  • For those who need an allrounder iem, here it can accommodate quite a lot of genres, although not all like dangdut or basshead.
  • For those who like simgot style tuning but want to try a neater version.

5. Conclusion

Simgot EW300 is Simgot's latest iem which for me has very good execution. To be honest, I've tried a lot of simgot iems but none of them are suitable, but here I really like it, especially the silver nozzle. the tonal execution feels more mature, balanced by the neat technical presentation. Yes, in my opinion, the Simgot EW300 is one of my favorite items in its price class, alongside the Dunu Titan S2 & Tanchjim 4U. But if you had to choose between the three, the safe choice in my opinion would be this, hahaha. Unless you need better equipment, you can go to Dunu Titan S2 or if you want to focus on vocals, you can go to Tanchjim 4U.

6. Sample song

  • Yorushika - Sunny
  • Yorushika - Voice
  • Suis from yorushika
  • Wakamonono subete
  • Ado - Unravel
  • Kessoku Band - Shine as usual
  • Kessoku Band - Chronostasis
  • Evanescence - Bring me to life
  • Green Day - Wake me up when September ends-

IMG_20240831_015624.jpg

1. Intro

  • I got a review unit from a friend of mine who didn't want to be named.
  • For this review is purely my personal opinion based on what I felt during the study.
  • It is one of the most used applications by professionals in this area.
  • For the build quality is still quite okay for the price. With body & frame made of aluminum. The physical buttons also feel clickly & click for the gain settings are also okay. Because it's a pity to make the weight so hollow in a less dense form, it's a pity to come back again according to the price too. For this cable to be good, both constructively and the sound produced. So I compared the same cable carry it UA4 he felt better open his voice & felt more solid too.

2. User experience

  • First this dongle in power can be used not really big but not too small. You could say the standard aja power, just enough to make a lot of iem. I tested using Epz Q1 pro at 3.5 low gain only 40% wrote enjoy.
  • The second such he can be called cold. I played 1 hour with the conditions above the temperature is still limited cool. In terms of power, he doesn't belong on the bench. With the purchase conditions above certain kena 10% on my cellphone, mayor dongle that I try is usually around 15%.
  • Third, the TP20 Pro feature looks less attractive when compared to its competitors. To get a smaller volume, this EPZ TP20 Pro does not have it, so for limited volume settings it fits. Yes although this could be a little different using the ibasso UAC app. It just keeps bothering me.

3. Sound quality

  • First of the bass EPZ TP20 Pro is no different from the bassnya. So the presentation is so much more punchy, cleaner & neater.
  • Second to mid weights also no change. So the presentation is so much brighter, cleaner, more advanced & more open.
  • The third for the treble is more open, more detailed, more spacious & more extends.
  • Fo Technical It is very helpful to improve the quality of life in ever better detail, ever clearer resolution, ever clearer clarity & faster separation.

4. Comparison

- EPZ TP20 Pro VS Tempotec BHD :

  • The bass bhd is a little bigger, a little deeper. While the tp20 pro has a firmer, cleaner & more agile bass.
  • Midnya bhd has a softer, smoother, softer & more natural taste. While tp20 pro with cleaner, clearer, sweeter & more loose taste.
  • For treble bhd little smooth. While the tp20 pro has more open, more detailed & more extends.
  • For the technique easier good stage in bhd more balance with Right-Left & top-bottom. While in tp20 pro with more detailed specifications, more clearly separated also neater.

5. EPZ TP20 PRO IS SUITABLE FOR ANYONE

  • For the IEM that is present, the sound starts to warm or relax. Rich C3, delci or elixir.
  • Suitable for those who want iem upper middle section more open or better presentation.
  • For those who use a simple dongle aka plug & play, there is no need to update the firmware or make Settings.

6. Conclusion

This EPZ TP20 Pro is a dongle that used to be good in terms of sound but there are some shortcomings in terms of user experience that does not have an independent volume (although it can be used for ibasso UAC applications) & also the build feels less solid. It's just that all the shortcomings are actually still tolerable for me considering the price. So I think this dongle is still recommended to try because I think the sound is very good for the price, even though there are several broken ones.

ARTTI T10: Plannar with the best value???

IMG_20240829_102535.jpg

1. INTRO

  • For the review unit this time I bought myself at the Ayoudio store.
  • To complete the IEM itself is still quite okay for the price. In addition, 6 pairs of eartips that can still be used as well & a pretty good hardcase.
  • If talking about the build quality itself for the IEM makes me less impressed, dy is made of less sturdy plastic & feels really light. Yes, make the price less so good.
  • ARTTI T10 still classified as not need big power is still quite light for the size of the plannar, I plug UA4 in the Jack 4.4 mm is only 40% low gain. So I advise to use a minimum of KS01 for the sake of convenience.

2. Sound quality

  • For me this is my characteristic mild v-shape warm.
  • Bassnya has a fairly large quality with dominance in the subbass. The subbass is quite deep with a very steady rumble. For the midbass T10 it also serves as a replacement with textures that include good for a plan. For its control & speed also intervenes a special Nice of a plannar.
  • For this mid, the position is a little different from the bass and the Mid has medium weight too. The vocal portion is also quite balanced, so make male or female vocals quite pleasing to the eye. For the vocal presentation T10 is a bit smooth for me, thick, quite wet, quite sweet & it feels quite natural for a plannar.
  • For treble T10 is made for me quite smooth presentation. But it's not so smooth. Unfortunately the cymbals are still good with details that are still good for me. For travel comfort is also still good & feel still quite roomy too.
  • For the technical, the price is already good, only if compared to other plannars like MP145, S12 Pro or even PR2, this T10 feels slightly less complete than the details or explanation. Yes, this ARTTI T10 has detail & clarity that is less commonly made compared to non-plannar IEM udh including good for the price. For the stage, it can also be said that it is finished relieved, Right-Left & Up-Down is finished okay. For separation & layering also need to be neat & make imaging also for separation & layering also need to be prepared before as accurate oxygen.

3. Comparison

- ARTTI T10 Vs Sonus 7HZ

  • Bass T10 has better bass than sonus, extra bass is also better on T10, Middle bass is also better on T10, make speed & control is also better on T10.
  • The Sonus Mid has a thinner weight than the T10. His vocal T10 has a better taste, more thick, more drinkable & more natural. So in sonus it tastes better, looser & sweeter.
  • Sonus treble more powerful than ever & more detail, just make better expression in T10.
  • For the technical sonus is still better in detail, separation & explanation. T10 has a nicer on stage sound, imaging & transitions.

- ARTTI T10 VS Tin DUDU

  • The bass of T10 is a little bigger, the intensity of the subbass is also better in T10. The midbass is also slightly shorter in the T10. So for the controls & the speed I felt at DUDU it was a little bit better.
  • Mid T10 is clearly more weighty, if the weight is still light DUDU typical plan in general. Present the vocals also better in T10, it feels better in body, more pleasing to the eye, more delicious & more natural. While in DUDU with a thinner, more energetic & slightly sweeter taste.
  • Treble presentations sitting better than T10. It turns out to be more interesting, more open, more detailed & the extension is also better than the T10.
  • For the technique is also better than T10. The Soundstage is a little more spacious, the details are also better, the separation is also neater & the transients are also better in DUDU.

4. Who is this Artti T10 suitable for?

  • Suitable for beginners who want to try plannar, because this is the most friendly IEM plannar for beginners who first want to try plannar.
  • For those who like timbre plannar, yes this is the most friendly IEM plannar for my rich people who are really . In this T10 I still feel quite comfortable & can learn.
  • Create a warm sound with vocals smooth, wet & thick. Suitable also for those who like bass that is fun with a good roar and suitable also for the sensi ama treble.

5. Conclusion

Is that this ARTTI T10 has a good value to make its price. Yes, for me this T10 still has a good value to be appreciated. he reminded the unusual in his general plan. the bass is quite good typical of DD singles but still well controlled & the movement is also typical of plannar. There are several things you can do to make a plannar, a treble that is friendly to many people as well as a technique that is still good from the plan. With it all to do this ARTTI T10 provides great value for its price & is worth trying.

CELEST WYVERN QING'S PERFORMANCE: Better than the abyss?

1. Intro
  • Previously, I would like to thank Kinera Thomas in advance for making the unit for review.
  • For this review I didn't use the built-in full stock, because I used eartips from epz m100 because the built-in eartips I didn't get a fitting that was pleasing to my ears for all sizes. In addition, I use the built-in cable & dac dongle shanling ua4.
  • Info also that this iem is still relatively light or does not require too much power, because I plug it into my cellphone can still be enjoyed comfortably at 50% volume, but of course by using a better source the potential obtained from this iem is also maximized.
  • For completeness, this iem is simple. It only consists of 3 pairs of eartips which are actually quite okay in terms of material, only for me it is too short, 1 cable that reminds me of the vermicelli cable next door & iem itself. Yes, it can be billed, the equipment is still just as rich, the abyss version is just downgraded on the cable side & eartips for me.

2. Sound quality

  • From this bass, I have a medium bass quantity. The subbass is quite deep with rumble that is still quite okay. Meanwhile, the midbass feels quite agile with the impact which is still quite okay even though it doesn't look really good. The control is also still quite good, yes, the bass is safe so that it doesn't cross into the mid.
  • The mid is just enough weight & the position is quite advanced, the effect is also a little boost in the uppermid area which makes the girl's vocals a little more advanced than the boys' vocals. For the presentation itself, the mid feels clear, quite sweet, quite energetic as well & quite loose. For sibilance or peak is safe here. For the instruments, the presentation is also quite okay, it still feels loose, the details are also still good, it's just that the separation still feels a bit mixed when it comes to the crowd. For the timbre, it still feels natural here.
  • For the treble itself, the presentation is actually quite energetic & quite open. It's just that the extension doesn't feel good. The sound of the cymbals feels cut so it doesn't taste good at the sound of the cymbals. For peak & grainy safe here.
  • For the technical, it's standard for me, it's not bad but it's not a good one either. The soundstage is quite enough, not the narrow or the most spacious. For the separation, it's already good, only in complicated songs, it's still a little stuck. The details are still good, only for the price, not the most detailed. The clarity is also still good, it's not the clearest for the price, it's not as clear as dfi or vader hires.

3. Comparison

- Qing Vs Abyss: This Qing makes me feel like a neater version of the abyss. The bass feels more agile and more controlled than the abyss, although the bass is not as much as the abyss. For the middle of this qing feels more relaxed, clearer & more energetic than the abyss. For the treble, both are not good, the extension is just a little more energetic, not dark kyk abyss. Technically, the qing is slightly better than the abyss, especially in its detail & separation.

- Qing Vs Wanner SE: The bass is a little bigger and more handsome, while the wanner SE feels thinner and more agile. For the mids, the weight is similar, only the qing feels sweeter and safer, while the wanner is a little clearer, more energetic, only there is a thin sibilance. For the treble, the wanner se feels more energetic & the extension is better than the qing. Technically, the presentation is also better, the soundstage feels a little wider & the details are better.

4. Who is this for

  • This IEM is suitable for beginners who don't want the bass to be too big but not too thin either.
  • For those who want safe vocals, go forward clear but the sweetness is still available.
  • For those who don't like aggressive treble too much, but the treble is not as bad as the one that is lost.
  • For those who want to have good looking.

5. Conclusion

The Kinera celest wyvern Qing is quite an attractive iem at around $25, bringing a slight improvement of the abyss & an attractive look. This qing can be used as one of the options to try, although for me personally this iem is not the best in its price class, but this iem can be said to be a safe choice for many people with a sound that is relatively acceptable to many people plus its beautiful appearance, this iem is very suitable to try or just be used as a collection.

6. Pros & Cons

- Pros :
  • Beautiful display
  • Great bass presentation
  • A better mid presentation than the abyss version
  • Acceptable sound

- Cons:
  • Cheap & downgraded cable from the abyss version
  • Uncomfortable eartips
  • Poor treble extensions
  • Standard technical
Completeness that is classified as minimalist
