Pros: Amazing Bass, great vocals, decent accessorizes a well balanced signature
Cons: No removable cable , relaxed treble
The AF100 MK2 is a revised edition of AudioFly’s base model professional in ear monitor.
Build and comfort:
The AF100 comes with a nice case to protect them and both silicone regular and multiple flange tips and a set foam that are the default tips. The shell is a transparent resin and the weight and shape make this ideal for long usage. An attached silver plated cable give these a nice look yet its not flashy or distracting, despite the lightweight it feels good and durable.
This IEM has one of the most detailed lower ends with exceptionally clean yet powerful Sub-Bass. That said it doesn’t intrude upon the Mids and with most recordings is no fatiguing and enjoyable. The Mid-Bass is punchy and balanced also with good details. Giving these that big stereo sound that is quite nice IMO.
The Mids are very detailed are well balanced and have some warmth about them that makes them very enjoyable, vocals are in front of the bass, natural and clear sounding. Its nice to have great bass without sacrificing the mids.
The treble is well below the harsh line, in fact the highs are relaxed and smooth with some details. I like this very much, its well defined and has enough extension and sparkle to compliment the bass and midrange.
The soundstage is accurate and has a fair amount of width to them. Imaging is better than I was expecting from a single dynamic driver but lately this seems to be the normal.
The AF100 MK2 is a great sounding well balanced IEM with great Bass , excellent vocals and a mature high end that provides wonderful details and a pleasant fun signature that can be enjoyed all day for both work or just relaxing to some good tunes and a delicious cup of coffee etc.
