I also jumped from the X5ii to the AK100ii. The upgrade in sound is apparent. The X5ii, already very good, now sounds slightly muddled and congested in comparison. My JH13s were brought to another level of enjoyment. Crispy highs, airy mids, prominent bass, superb imaging and soundstage, now even more than before.
