Problem with CMoy Amp and Xbox 360
That's what I'm thinking. I think the 1.8" plug part is flimsy and that in needs something to keep it sturdy and firm, if that makes sense. I just found this at MonoPrice. Do you think this will solve the problem, if not completely, then enough to operate?- chronoice001

Problem with CMoy Amp and Xbox 360
The audio works fine when it's plugged into the TV and the amp works with different sources, like my iPod and Powerbook. I tried my headphones through the amp and then to a female/female coupler to the RCA/1.8" adapter and I get the same result, but I get a better range of tweaking the adapter...- chronoice001

Grado SR60 + Shure E2c = Good Combo?
I currently have a pair of Sennheiser HD202s with no amp and even broken in, they sound a bit muddy. I like the warm sound and nice bass, but they only sound so good, even at the cheap $20 I paid for them. I'm finally considering upgrading by getting a pair of Grado SR60s to use at home, with...- chronoice001

Sharp MD33s - Case, Sleeves, and Burning
How much would burning help the sound of the MD33s? Right now, I have them plugged into my CD player lying on my bed with a CD on repeat. Is that a) safe b) recommended or c)useless? EDIT: Where can I get that foam to use on the reversible mod? It seems incredibly easy. Just take off sleeve...- chronoice001

Sharp MD33s - Case, Sleeves, and Burning
I just received my MD33s in the mail a few minutes ago and after I got them in my ears I tried them out to dissappointing results. The music is very nasal sounding and when sometimes the bass gets a bit muddy. Is this just because they haven't been burnt in yet? How much does burning in effect...- chronoice001

I've heard a lot of good things about the Shure E2Cs but I was wondering how much do they block outside noise out and how's the sound quality overall? Also, where's the cheapest place to get these? I've only seen $99.99. And if you can recommend any other cans for this price make it happen.- chronoice001
