My question is a little off topic, in regards to the line out. I have a ipod 160gb LoD connected to my hornet amp. the hornet amp controls the volume, but if I change the equalizer setting on my ipod the sound changes. Is that natural for a true line out?

I bought some stuff on iTunes at 128kbs, on better gear it sounds better, less muddled, better seperation of sound, etc... but it also makes the imperfections stand out. Overall IMO the improvements outweigh the drawbacks so yes it makes it sound better to me.
