    Best IEMs for Meizu?

Hi, I'm looking for a pair of phones to pair with my Meizu M6 SL. As I was considering the Grado SR60 I originally posted on the Covering Headphones list but someone suggested I also try iems (I am using - AKG K312Ps - which IMHO lean more towards providing support for rock than house tunes. The...

Are Modern recordings optimised for "ipod users"?

chinesekiwi, Queenryche, that's a band I haven't heard in years. Was very into Rush, AC/DC and Metallica I never paid much attention to this until I nearly gave up listening to music 6 months ago. I left my hifi and collection of vinyl and cds back home when I immigrated 5 years ago...

    Best Phones for Meizu?

Having listened more to the M6 it seems to me that the earphones I am using - AKG K312Ps - lean more towards providing support for rock than house tunes. The latter distort when it comes to bass but it must be said that Geddy Lee's bass guitar (a Rickenbacker) sounds a bit dull.

    Best Phones for Meizu?

kojebee; Bonthouse, thanks for your replies. Kojobee, I think you are right re the bassy sound of the Meizu; I've been trying to clear that up with the EQ but to no avail, and thought a decent set of phones would help. I'll look into the models you suggested.

AAC to WAV is it worth it?

Hi Wildsurfer Clear as crystal. When I begin ripping my CDs I will do it straight to FLAC. For now, my motley collection of music files will remain as is. thanks

AAC to WAV is it worth it?

Hi Having recently bought an M6 SL I was wondering if it was worth my while converting my existing collection of files (mainly AAC) to WAV? I tried it out last night (using Foobar2000) and then played a converted WAV on my Meizu back to back with the original AAC file. The WAV sounded...
