One thing I noticed from using the ZX1 is that the multiple connection on it is top notch. I connected to both my S24U and my Galaxy book at the same time and the switch between the two is like instant. Pretty impressive.- voicemaster

I just download it and install. It automatically detect my ZX1 and choose LDAC for the codec. I did pay for the license tho.- voicemaster

I had the chance to use the ZX1 in Starbucks today and the ANC is quite good. It completely erases the background noise/hum and some of the high frequency (people talking, etc). Even without ANC, the passive isolation is already pretty good imho so I just use it without ANC. With music/video...- voicemaster

I am using LDAC on my phone. SBC works perfectly fine on my PC. I have downloaded the Alt A2DP, we'll see how it goes.- voicemaster

I thought Iphone can only do AAC? For LDAC, I don't really care much about it, too much power consumption and latency kinda sucks. I would prefer to have AptX Adaptive, but the SBC now is pretty good. If you want to have all codec, the Noble Triumph iirc has all of them (AptX adaptive, LDAC, etc).- voicemaster

So, here is my early impression of Aviot TE-ZX1 PNK: - Fit is very good for my ears, very comfortable despite having a pretty chunky body. - The case feels nice. The plastic feels premium. - The sound is really good. Bass is quite detailed and textured. It has planar type bass which is fast...- voicemaster

I ordered from ebay on April 30. It took awhile for the seller to shipped the item since it was in the middle of Golden Week in Japan. It was shipped on May 4 and I received it here in the US today via Fedex.- voicemaster

Unique Melody IEM discussion thread(MEST, MEXT, Mentor, Mason, etc.)
I also replaced my ifi go pod because the right side doesn't want to connect with the left side. So only the left side is connecting to my bluetooth adapter (Sennheiser BTD600). Luckily, I ordered from amazon and they send the replacement with next day delivery and I haven't even send the faulty...- voicemaster

Just received my ifi go pod replacement from amazon (free next day shipping) and hopefully everything is good this time. I haven't even brought in the unit that is faulty to UPS yet (boxed and ready to be shipped back). I am pairing up the go pod with my UM mest Indigo and all I can say is it...- voicemaster

Replacing my ifi go pod as it starting to exhibit disconnection between the L&R pods. The right pod started to not connecting to the left pod. This problem occur this morning when I connect my laptop using Sennheiser BTD600. The right side didn't seem to sync up to the left pod, so only the left...- voicemaster

I wouldn't worry about shipping to/from Japan tbh. I have bought more than 10 watches ($300 - $1200) from Japan and none have any issues so far other than in some cases, I need to pay for import tax. It is also fairly quick with average delivery time in at most a week time. Also, when buying...- voicemaster

Comment by 'voicemaster' in item 'AFUL MagicOne'
The MagicOne really scale well with more powerful amp. I have listened mine using wired and wireless connection. With the latter, I have KZ AZ09pro, Fiio UTWS5 and recently ifi go pod. The KZ has the least amount of power of them all and while it can still drive the MagicOne, but the sound is...- voicemaster

The MagicOne is indeed magical. I have many more IEMs that are more expensive and has more drivers, but I always go back to MagicOne.- voicemaster

Just got ifi go pod after having own 4 Fiio UTWS5 and 4+ KZ AZ09 pro and AZ20. The go pod absolutely destroyed the UTWS5 and KZ AZ09 pro in term of sound quality and raw power. There is so much more headroom volume wise. I was afraid the pod will be too big and cumbersome, but the go pod...- voicemaster

You might not get a decent seal. Usually when you don't have a good seal, the treble is accentuated even more than it is.- voicemaster

I have Noble Focus ANC and their passive isolation is on another level than any TWS I've own. I recently went on 30+ hours long flight and never used the ANC and still get a good sound without too much background noise from the engine.- voicemaster

Wow. Just landed in Taipei after 12+ hours flight. I've been using the Noble Fokus H-ANC 2 hours before take-off and been wearing it the whole flight until touchdown in Taipei. I checked the battery at 40% when landed :astonished:. So I've only use around 60% battery for 14 hours, granted I...- voicemaster
