The Clash vs U2........cast your vote:)
The Clash are fantastic. Every tune is real solid brilliance. U2 just aren't my cup of tea AT ALL. -

Do you think you could blindly tell which Grado is which?
I can blindly tell the difference between my two pairs (SR80 and SR325i) no problem at all. Don't reckon I could do it with the whole range though!- indysmith

Seriously what is it with you and your hands? Nobody gives a flying feck what they look like unless you're a hand model, which I highly doubt you are. This is the most absurd thread I've ever seen on any forum ever! How does it feel to be the most dumb person on the internet? No...- indysmith

Nightwish
I saw em live with Tarja. To be honest, I used to be a big fan, but now when i listen to them i just get this massive vibe of cheese. Powermetal is just so... lame, lol. The guitar tone really gets my goat aswell - it's the quintessential scooped mesa recto sound, and does nothing for me. Tarja... -
Music for a Road Trip
I generally jam with a bit of the Grateful Dead. Calms down all those small-enclosed-space influenced fights... Anything chilled and acoustic works too, but be sure to throw a few singalong belters in there to keep the driver awake, lol. -

Grado SR125......beginner headphones
If i were you I'd push for the 225s if you can afford it. The 125s seem to have a bit of a strange place in the Grado line-up, and from what I understand they aren't much different to the SR80s. The 225s are exceptionally good headphones, somewhat more refined, and many people on here will tell...- indysmith

Valve Amp to Match with Grados
Sounds spot on - are there any strong tonal characteristics? Also - where do you buy little dot gear from? I can't find anywhere but eBay and they're only selling the MKII and MKII+ Any other options in the price range?- indysmith

Valve Amp to Match with Grados
Looking for a reasonably priced (preferably less than £200) Valve (tube) headphone amplifier that'll work well with my Duet and my Grado SR325i's and SR80's. I'd like something very 'real' sounding, with loads of detail. Pretty much want it to sound natural. If it could be used as a preamp for...- indysmith

My Super.Fi 5 pro is busted.
One of them is really quiet with absolutely no bass and extremely undefined... Sounds like a tweeter underwater. It's not the cable, definitely the IEM. Shall I contact UE? Any ideas on what's wrong with it? hasn't been in any unusual situations i don't think - worked fine the other day!- indysmith
