If i were you I'd push for the 225s if you can afford it. The 125s seem to have a bit of a strange place in the Grado line-up, and from what I understand they aren't much different to the SR80s. The 225s are exceptionally good headphones, somewhat more refined, and many people on here will tell...

One of them is really quiet with absolutely no bass and extremely undefined... Sounds like a tweeter underwater. It's not the cable, definitely the IEM. Shall I contact UE? Any ideas on what's wrong with it? hasn't been in any unusual situations i don't think - worked fine the other day!
