What IEMs are my options if I like SoundMagic PL30 *TIPS*??

Comfort is #1 when it comes to portable headphones or IEMs for me. Unfortunately, I've only tried so many IEM tips. I dislike the iM716 black long foam and the tri-flange thing. I really liked the one that it is on the SoundMagic PL30, though (much less pressure/force in my ear; I don't feel...

Thoughts on the Pandora as a DAP?

I was just wondering what everybody's thoughts were on the Pandora handheld as a DAP that's coming out in a couple months? There is a short, somewhat detailed discussion of the audio section here, but I don't know the tech-speak and can't determine if what everybody is saying is standard...

    multiplication before addition

I think the OP knows about PEMDAS or whatever. The question is WHY PEMDAS? Why was it decided that 8*2+3 should equal 19 instead of 40? Is it because multiplication and division are designed/drawn together (so it looks like (8)(2) + 3)?

What's a good External TV Tuner?

Hey guys, I'm looking for a good TV Tuner for my computer. It's an IBM Laptop so I cant use the traditional PCI ones. I'm looking for PCMCIA or USB. Either one is good as long as the tuner is good! My budget is about $100 or so. I'm not really looking for HD but it is a plus I guess. I will...

Highest quality album to get Separate Ways by Journey?

I'm looking to get an album that contains Separate Ways by Journey, but there are just so many that I don't know which one to get. I do know that with some modern music, there's the whole loudness war thing going, so I'm weary of that. So, with that in mind and how sometimes music gets...

Trying to get into high-end speakers -- weary of shams/non-hifi companies

Hey guys, I'm trying to get into high-end speakers but I'm weary of companies that really aren't high-fidelity sound quality and charge a lot for their speakers when you can get a lot more for less. People always briefly mention these companies, but I have not really got specifics. BOSE is...

The USB Soundblaster Live! seems affordable and available, but I'm having a hard time finding a picture showing that it does offer coaxial output (particularly RCA). Best Advice to get Coaxial from laptop?

Okay, I usually listen to my music from music CDs, but I have gotten tired of always having to get up and switch CDs all the time (and when I'm listening to music is the last time I want to pause the music to get up and spend a minute swapping CDs). I figure I might as well start ripping all of...
