EmoPulse Smile smartwatch is up on Indiegogo.  Supposed to stream "audiophile quality"uncompressed audio over USB using Purepath technology.  What the heck is Purepath technology?  Is nice looking though ... wonder how my Audeeze would sound with it.

Look at Bel Canto ... I think I remember the having something like that.  If not in their current models, maybe in their last generation models.

I am so done with iTunes ... we need a bit perfect unbloated open source replacement!

Picked up a Pebble Smartwatch and have it set up to control my audio system so that I don't have to use that big bulky iPad anymore.  It is a little clunky, but works from anywhere in the house.  Can't wait for Apple to release the iWatch so that I can use Siri and not have to move at all ;-)...

And???  How are the new tubes doing?

Bel Canto DAC 1.5 just showed up ... it sounds absolutely amazing.  However, I have to turn the volume up to 100 to achieve a reasonable volume.  Is this generally the norm for audiophile headphone setups???  Since I am new to audiophile headphones I am not sure how loud these should get...
