I am OUT!!!!!! Unfortunately .... I was just put on a Wednesday through Sunday schedule at work. I was really looking forward to this, as I have never been to one before. So .... I was bringing my Bottlehead S.E.X., Keces DAC and Senn 600's ... prolly safe to take them off the Gear...

WOW ... lots of great gear ... add to the list, as a source, my Keces 151DAC/Laptop/Lossless rig.

My speakers easily get the lions share of the listening time and audio budget here .... headphones are for early morning and late night. 1981 Klipsch La Scalas(with Altec 511B mid horns) driven by Bottlehead 300B tubes

For those of you not local to LA (or Bay area, where the original stores are) ..... AMOEBA Music in Hollywood MUST be on everyones list for a day trip .... So mandatory is this trip ... that maybe a shuttle bus could be arranged for out of towner's who have no transportation. On that note...

I have never been to one of these ... looking forward to coming. Question: Do you need me (us) to bring along any extension cords or 3 way splitters??? Seems like there is going to be a whole lot of plugs that need ... plugging.

I use a $15 iMic that is USB to Miniplug .... I was getting a nasty ground hum from the headphone miniplug to my stereo ... the USB iMic cured it. Not sure if there is any SQ gain ... probably not

Are you using the mini-headphone out .... I had lots of buzz with mine that way. Buy an iMic and use the USB out ... it fixed my problem and is only about $30 .... I have since moved on to a Keces-151 which I love.
