SOHA II cuts out after a few minutes then cuts in again - repeat
I faced the same problem be4 in my SOHA ii when using OPA627 so i tried back OPA134 and i solved all the questions.The main reason i think is the "too" high slew rate for some opamps such that it was too "sensitive" to compensate to the DC offset.BTW,try to let the output transistors warm up for...- KWS

SOHA II Builders Thread
Hi all!I m building a SOHA ii but got some problems for the buffer DC offset.Please advise. I used 1.5M for R15, Q6,Q7=2SC2238 from TOSHIBA, OPA627au for both opamps Ibias =100mA(Voltage accross R10(2R2) is around 220mV) V+ = 15V V- = -14.95V and no tube is installed for...- KWS

SOHA I Problem
VR1 =12V Fixed Regulator 78L12 So it would not be higher than too much than 12V unless you connect the pins wrongly. Try to take a look the pins definition on the datasheet and also see clearly how people place the 78L12 from the following pics.- KWS
