I need to demo the MRs, I really like my Diana V2s as they complement the Calderas. Really curious what chain your using with the MRs? I tend to use the V2s on solid state and the Calderas on tubes.

TBH I have never warmed it up without playback. Curious, will have to give it a try next time.

A note on Zeos's review of the Phonitor 2 and Tungsten. He did try the Tungsten when his master volume output was not set to max. I'm actually curious have you heard the ER300B-MR or TM300B? TBH I should probably be more financially responsible, and thinking to skip the ER300B if there is much of a difference compared to the WE3000B.

Completely agree, I also landed on 8ohm tap, however with 5AR4 in the red october. I was running into the same problem on 32 and higher taps being too thin. I primarily run planars and generally prefer the 5AR4 compared to the 5U4G, but have only tried a few options. Need to find those top tier...

The ampsandsound red october. Super happy with how it has been sounding with the Caldera. Definitely going to picking up some other ZMFs to try with it.
