Just sharing. While dicussing the customized faceplate for DTE900 on AliExpress, I asked them "how about trying something new, doing the Odin-like faceplate with a little twist with different colors and shells", and then this is the result. About the sound, yep I prefer the Odin over DTE900...

To my ears DTE900 is better than Z1R (DTE900 has a great bass response too), but you shouldn't trust other's ears. There's a Headfi user said that Fiio FH9 is better than DTE900, I bought a used FH9 to try out, and...meh, have to sold Fh9 afterward, DTE900 is just way better at everything...

Very different iems. Z1R has better bass than DTE900 (not surprisingly), more sub-bass, more rumble, more spacious, soundstage is wider too. DTE900 has better seperation, more forward mids, and suited with more various music genres. Z1R is a legendary iem, no doubt about it, especially if you...

DTE900 vs Monarch Mk3 I agree somehow with the opinions made previously by 2 users who had both. I'm quoting here: by @Danx3k And (unknown source) DTE900 will sounds better with burning (as ToneDeafMonk stated), and I just have ~30h listening time for it. While this Mk3 is already 3 months...

Received mine today, absolutely a beauty. Soundwise pretty good too, will do some comparison with Monarch mk3 soon.
