I'm using it with my A&K SR35. It does sound exceptionally detailed and clear. Bass is very controlled and the soundstage is decent. I'm loving it.- slackyboy

Recently go the Astell&Kern - A&norma SR35. They sound very nice on the Monarch MK3s. resolution and detailing in particular are excellent.- slackyboy

Went ahead and got the SR35. Sounds very good. Using my Monarch MK3 and my Hifiman Edition XS. Both sound very good.- slackyboy

Just got my MK3s. Out of the box they sound pretty good. But I am sure they need some time to burn in.The stock foam eartips fit my ears perfectly. Isolation is pretty decent and comfort is very good.- slackyboy

Aaah thought so. I use the Fiio R7 as well and all is good except for the fact while using gapless playback there is a stutter between the songs. Thanks for the A and K info and yeah i get you.- slackyboy

I prefer a nicely balanced sound. I also prefer new. V shaped is mostly to my liking but i love to experiment. Budget is flexible from US$ 500 to US1500. The only thing is, I usually listen to Apple music and was wondering if any DAC can match the smooth performance of IOS. I have both Iphone...- slackyboy

Fabulous review. I echo your thoughts. The 7Hz Legato is truly an outstanding IEM. I also use a Fiio 4.4 mm Silver plated cable and it makes a huge difference.- slackyboy
