    Sennheiser HD 660S2 thread

    These are very enjoyable when just listening to music for back ground, rather than detailed listening like my HD800. The HD6xx are so light, warm sounding, easy to wear. So cheap for the value you get.

    I have 4 of these units, tried lots of Dac/amps, and tried one of these based on research, and they are incredible. If you want real sound, not adjusted sound, they are sooo good, in every way. I cannot ever getting anything else, waste of money. These weight 8 pounds, huge power supply...

    Hi On the budget end the IFI Zen Dac v2 hs a nice warm sound and the bass boost is helpful with some headphones.

    I live in Florida and have been a die hard audiophile for over 40 years, always speakers, never headphones, until last year. I love doing research on gear and it has been super helpful. I now use headphones almost as much as speakers, currently have HD800 and Hifiman Arya stealth, love them...
