The Quad Era 1 may be suitable for you regarding head size.I have one and on the tightest setting it still feels like it is going to slip off my normal size head.

As previously mentioned who did Quad get to model this headphone"SHREK"?. It just fits me on the lowest setting thankfully, but i can see if you had a smaller than average skull these would fall off easily.

got it today.got it working on my w7 laptop ok,my google nexus tablet ok,but plugging into my ipad 4 running ios10 the green light just blinks (instead of solid green)and no sound outputs to my headphones.any thoughts why it is not just plug and play with the ipad?

Hi,do you think a jds element would be a good match for the he 400i.At the moment i use a cambridge dac xs through an creek obh 11se for added volume(getting a bit deaf so the xs on its own does not go loud enough).Or will there be little or no improvement by getting a better amp/dac for the 400i.
