In case anyone is looking for a better aptx adaptive dongle for the Momentum 4: The Creative BT-W5 ended up developing skips and crackles when using with the PS5. I ended up buying the Ugreen CM668 which, by itself as less issues, but to really fix it, I had to use a USB-A to USB-C adaptor...

What phone do you have? EDIT: Seems to be using LC4 on the Pixel 8, it works much much better than I expected. Windows 11 seems to be using LE but not LC3 (????). At least the latency in windows games is really high, unlike on the pixel 8.

Does anyone know the code name for the EP-NI1010 (it's the code name for the black stock tips) but in silver?

Just received the Azla. The good news is that their isolation is more than acceptable, not as good as foam but fairly close, they're the best silicone tips I've had. The bad news is the ML size is a bit too big for me, so I ordered the M size. I feel like Sony should include tips of this...

That's your experience and it is valid, but it will not be for everyone, like it was for me.

No, the ones for the xm5 are Sony EP-NI1010. Does anyone know the codename for the silver ones? I only found black on ebay from japan.

Oh yes, definitely! My motherboard also comes with BT 5.2, but I have no ideia if it will support LC3 (and I really wish apple would support other codecs) EDIT: My board is AX210, not sure if it makes a difference.

Went to a store to try the Wh-1000XM5 ( the headphones). They sound a lot different from the wf-1000xm5, what a shame.

But that exactly what I said. With Team Fortress 2 at 120hz, there's not difference beetween this and the Momentum 4 with Aptx Adaptive in low latency.

Just picked up these. I much prefer this tuning over the Airpods Pro 2. I also finding it weird that the ANC and passive isolation are much much better than the Airpods, which seems to go against the general consensus. One nice surprise that I found, is that on my PC, which has a motherboard...

So, I bought another BT-W5 since returning my launch day one. It's not and day, I have zero crackling on my PC and PS5 (as long as I use the USB-A port). One difference I noticed is that the Momentum 4 detects the dongle as BT-W5 instead of BT-W4X which was the name that appeared in my launch...

Yeah, I got that impression even with the crackling of the BT-W5, with my Momentum 4. I thought I was going crazy. I actually just ordered another one.

Yeah I had that one, but unfortunately it had pops and crackle with 2 headphones, I also tried in USB 2. I just wasn't sure if I had a defective one or if was "normal" behaviour of the adapter.

Is the BT-W5 still the "best" Aptx Adaptive dongle out there?

Wish Sennheiser made a proper PS5 compatible aptx adaptive dongle, I really don't want to play my lottery with another Creative BT-W5.

Btw, RTINGs has posted the latency with Aptx adaptive on their site. EDIT: Wish there was either a High End Tuning option (@Sennheiser) , or more graph comparisons with the podcast setting vs Harman 2018, I find it hard to interpret the RTINGs one.

Has anyone noticed a sound uqality difference beetween the DG60P and BT-W5? (not talking about latency, just quality)
