Just hang on to the shipping materials for a while. My problems didn't appear until I had the amp for about 2 weeks. But I'm going to believe that I just had bad luck and this is going to be an awesome amp for you!

Just be aware that I think it will void the warranty if you open it up - and as one of those whose Lyr+ is yet to work (RA'd for the second time now) that would make me nervous.

I had the stock tube. Tung-Sol 6SN7, inserted firmly. Failure mode appears to be blown output stage, same symptoms as you followed by total output failure and overheating post-repair at Schiit.

Ask for a repair/replace as opposed to seek a refund. To Schiit's credit they are willing to refund despite it being out of the 15 day return window. I definitely did not do this and I agree with you.
