Been debating if I should pickup a Multibit dac. I have been eyeing the Bifrost, used or the new 2/64. Haven’t committed but now that you mention it, might add the MM2 to my potential list.

Ah, could be. I own the akm Modius and like it and agree it would be a good pickup for someone looking for the akm version.

Was perusing the Schiit “current deals” and noticed that the Modius is available as b-stock and close out. Did I miss something? Is the Modius E being updated or phased out?

Any particular artist or classic rock sound you are into? I have found a well mastered, high def going through some decent hardware will sound good with the Audeze lcd4. Then again most gear would sound good when considering all those elements. A well mastered copy of Dark Side always sounds...

Haven’t had a lot of time with the Piety but my initial impression is positive. Plugged in my Audeze LCD4 and was impressed with the sound. Full disclosure, I do like a “tube” sound. Agree with previous comments about the Valhalla being the better of the two but for half the price, can’t complain.

Great to hear it pairs well with the Modius! Haven't considered a Lokius but now you have tempted me to consider picking one up as well.:smile:

Been interested in it since it was announced. Missed my chance during the initial sale. Managed to pick one up late last night. Curious how it will pair with a Modius. Will try it with a few headphones as well as my LCD4. Might be a bit under powered for it but why not...
