Does anybody know of a store selling Sennheiser 580/6xx earpads for less than the $40 MSRP?

Has anyone compared the Headsave Classic with the meta42/pimeta? I know there have been reviews of the meta42 portable vs the vibe but has anybody heard these two?

I've heard that the Grace has a better headamp while the Benchmark a better DAC Has anyone listened to both of these and can make a comparison? Specifically I want to use them to drive the Senn 580s Also can anybody recommend a superior DAC-amp combo for about 1000? Thanks

I have the Asus P4T533-C Motherboard with spdif output. I'm not sure if its straight 44.1 or upsampling. How would I find this out? Also if i hooked this up to a DAC would this sound as good as purchasing an expensive seperate soundcard?

Has anybody compared the senn adaptor cable (that comes with the 650s) to the grado offering in terms of sound/build? also does anyone know another brand that makes a good adaptor? Thanks

Anyone ever built their own high quality HDD player such as the ones from this site DIY MP3. I'm sure that you can buy a 20 Gig microdrive and someone can design a simple GUI, and basically build in a good DAC and something like a mini META. Something like this could be a headfi community...
