Having had the Auteurs for a little over 6 months now, I haven't even so much as looked at a new pair since. They just handle everything I throw at them so well, I wouldn't even know where to go from here. Honestly I don't even find them all that comfortable (might have to do with my ear shape)...

Waiting to pull the trigger on these but I still haven't seen much in the way of objective evaluations yet. From what I can gather they seem to have a more laid-back, natural presentation, pleasant on the ears but far from neutral. Hopefully we see some more reviews or measurements in the coming...

I was curious about this comparison too. From everything I was reading, the B2 edges out the FH7 only very slightly in detail and separation but loses out in bass quality and quantity. Since I mostly listen to electronic music I went with the FH7, not sure what your preference would be with metal.

When you compress the pads toward your head does this go away? Could also be explained by subtle difference in ear to driver distance.

Same thing happens with mine, but a quick wipe down with a wet paper towel / baby wipe / etc. gets them looking good as new.

Anyone who's tried the WF-1000XM3 and the Melomania 1 think it's worth adding the Tevi's to my arsenal? I don't love the sound of the Melomania's (the low mids are a bit too bloated for me) but they're a great workout set, something the Sony's are definitely not suited for.

I don't find the soundstage particularly wide either. To me where the FH7 shines is in instrument placement, separation, and clarity. But I have noticed others mention this too, so I'm not sure. Also thanks to VICosPhi for mentioning the Xelastec tips, I'll be giving those a try as well!
