How do you find the Bathys compare to the Elegia?

Anyone here still rocking a vintage pairs Grado RS1's ? Recently picked up the Dekoni Velour pads and am very much enjoying them with my RS1's !

The Elegias plugged into the Zen DAC V2 sound fantastic. Very full, engaging and authoritative

Can anyone advise on whether I should have power match engaged when using Zen DAC V2 with my Focal Elegia's? From what I understand the power match is meant for higher ohm cans and the Elegia's are relatively low at 35 ohms

Any consensus on how the OG Clears sound with Elex pads? How much does the sound change from the stock pads?

This was my concern that it was a DC offset issue.. Any cause for concern for damage to the clears or elegia? I have tried plugging in with volume all of the way down, different inputs selected, pretty much every combination and still there are some pretty loud / disturbing pops that occur...

I'm experiencing on occasion intensely loud pops upon inserting my Clears cable into the RNHP amp. Its a brand new amp and even had rupert neve designs take a look at it and they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Any idea of what it may be? Perhaps static electricity build up? I'm concerned...

Is anybody noticing significant improvement in sound quality when using the included XLR cable over the 1/4 inch cable?
