    Simgot IEM discussion thread.

Interesting comparison. The bass on Quintet is really nice, with decent texture. Supermix4 having a more bass can be more fun to listen to. Also, Quintet is a touch spicy for me, which may not be the case with Supermix 4. S4 should be an interesting release.

Oh yes, this is the most basic design. There are far more awesome color schemes for these IEMs. There are some pictures in the dedicated thread: here

Here is my detailed review of Alpha Omega Ra, an IEM that I find very capable. https://headfonics.com/alpha-omega-ra-review The Alpha Omega Ra has been a delightful surprise for me. Priced at under $600, it packs a considerable number of drivers and is tuned very well. The bass performance on...

Hello everyone, and thank you for joining. Today, I am reviewing the Penon Dome, a hybrid IEM with 1DD, 2 Sonion BA drivers, and 1 Knowles BA driver. This unit was sent by Penon for review purposes. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to them for providing me with the sample. The...

I would like to suggest an eponymous action. This one is pulling an @aaf evo. Not sure it’s suggested already. Meaning: buy everything which is TOTL. Don’t like it sell it at a very low price and move on to the next one, no regrets.

It’s really hard to choose one over the other. They are very very close in terms of performance. It’s hard to tell which is better or may be they are at exact same place. Good to have both in the collection, for sure.

When I had compared the OH700VB and Ra, I found the bass on Ra to be cleaner and had a better texture. The bass line coming from different instruments was better distinguishable on Ra than OH700VB. The mids on OH700VB are a bit thinner than on Ra. I also found the OH700VB to be more...

I remember the first time I tried the RN6 and XE6. There were some other iems too: Ragnar, Fourte and Jewel. I first tried the RN6, and it sounded so good. The bass was exactly what I had always craved for. Then I tried XE6 and did not like it much, mostly because of RN6 effect. It sounded a...

I absolutely love this pair. Read my review here: https://headfonics.com/letshuoer-cadenza4-review The LETSHUOER Cadenza4 proves to be a pleasantly refreshing IEM. Despite its seemingly standard driver configuration, the tuning is impressive. This sound signature will particularly appeal to...

I don't think it falls down in technicalities. It's good in technical aspects. I think the stage is pretty good. Nozzles do not change much, which I have mentioned in the review as well, and that's a thing with a lot of iems where there are tuning nozzles. Rest, I love the sound on it. It fits...

The only thing they should have improved is the bass quantity on it, which they improved with the EA1000. The implementation is nearly same with a passive radiator on both in addition to the dd driver. However, the bass on the two iems are quite different in quantity. EA2000 has a good cable...

Read my review on Tanchjim Origin here: https://headfonics.com/tanchjim-origin-review We have seen quite good releases in the single dynamic driver space in the past few years. In the current market, there is some good competition from IEMs such as Simgot’s EA1000, Oriveti OD200, and the DUNU...

FlipEars is a brand from the Philippines. They are quite popular in Asian countries. Artha is in the house. Its an all-BA, with 8 drivers per side. FlipEars IEMs Line-up - Aether/Artha/Aurora - Impressions and Discussions

Artha in the house. Solid performer and even more impressive bass for an all BA iem. The switches on it give quite different flavors. All the iems that you have mentioned here, I never tried them. I have tried Quattro and now Dome as the second Penon iem. I find Dome quite decent. There are so many people who like Quattro. It is definitely a decent release, quite a bold release I believe. For me these are nice introductions...

I got the Penon Dome a few days ago. I am sharing my brief impression of the initial time spent with the Dome. I am now interested in comparison of Mub1 and Shanling H7/H5. I assume/know Fiio dac/amp don’t sound as sweet as Mub1 as I had tried M15 few weeks back and don’t remember it sounding as natural as Mub1. If someone can throw some comparisons with Shanlings, it would be great help. Thanks
