Advice on Sennheiser earbuds please!
Hi everyone. I have to buy new earbuds. However I don't have much experience with those, so I've recently read more topics about them here... yet most of them aren't updated so they don't entirely solve my issue. I'll try keeping this short, the only options I have available are those...- vvvvvv

audiotrak hd2 replacing op-amps
Thanks, that worked. 3 OPA's 2134 seems to sound best on my equipment, although maybe a bit too bright at times. I have a question for HD2 users. I usually use my headphones with it, but if I want to use my speakers (which don't have sepparate left/right wires) can I just plug them in the...- vvvvvv

audiotrak hd2 replacing op-amps
thanks for the reply! 1) yes well i read somewhere you just have to gently nudge them or something, but that sure doesn't work. plus i didn't want to risk damaging the card, so i tried to stay away from nose pliers and stuff like that. so should i try pulling them out more aggressively? 2)...- vvvvvv

audiotrak hd2 replacing op-amps
i just received my opa2134's and i want to replace the stock ne5532's from my prodigy hd2. i tried pulling them out in order to replace them but it's absolutely impossible, no matter how hard i try. they seem soldered in place, just can't remove them. and i don't want to damage the card. getting...- vvvvvv

Audiotrak Prodigy HD2 opamp configurations list
Thanks a lot for the reply, but it didn't really answer any of my 2 questions. :/ So which would be better: all three OPA2134's or two OPA2134's + a 5532? Anyone? Quote: Originally Posted by vvvvvv I myself can only get the OPA2134- vvvvvv

Audiotrak Prodigy HD2 opamp configurations list

Sennheiser HD555 & 24-bit
Thanks! But I thought it would be more indicated to buy a new soundcard, I heard amp doesn't make a lot of difference for HD555. I have my eyes on Audiotrak Prodigy HD2 so far, but I can't really afford it at the moment, and not the easiest to find. Does anyone know other cheaper soundcards that...- vvvvvv

Sennheiser HD555 & 24-bit
Hi all. I've read here that the HD555's and SB Live! 24-bit External don't go too well together. Quoting someone: "Creative SB Live 24bit External is just a truck load of jargon. No offense but its a terrible sounding source". The thing is I have SB Live! 24-bit, but Internal. I couldn't find...- vvvvvv

HD 555 > amp, or soundcard ?
I see a lot of you guys in this thread know a lot about the HD555, I'm thinking of buying them so I have a question. I know they're not closed, so how loud is exactly the noise that comes out from them? Is it really that noticeable? Will it disturb someone in the room? Please detail, as in...- vvvvvv
