The Sony IER M7...not a Chifi though Dunu DK series are hybrid and have more round shape than the bean / elliptic shape you mentioed.

Try other inputs they are all empty! I know it sounds stupid but did you connect some source to your DAC?

Consider Fiio FH3, they are similar to the FH5..some users says the FH5 does not worth almost twice the price...just a tad better.

I didn't mean to the EST112. Dunu is planning to make more models with the ECLIPS3 shell, the shell of the Zen. It is written in the post some where at the start..

Budget wise I prefer the IKKO OH10 and the Fiio FH3. From reviews, it seems that the Fiio is more comfortable.

Can you give us some details on the DK-2001 successor? It would be with beryllium plated DD + 3BA? It would be in the exact ECLIPS3 platform? It would be in close/similar price range as the DK-2001? When it will be released? Will the ECLIPS3 platform will be used in new models less than 300$...
