Airist should really have provided a driver at launch and the fact that they haven't yet done so is concerning. Their excuse for a website adds insult to injury. Massdrop support is pointing people with issues to Airist without providing a way to get in touch with them.

Ah, I'm not sure if Drop offers different paid/free Fedex services, but SmartPost is Fedex. It's a ground based service that hands off packages to USPS for delivery.

I agree SmartPost is rediculous — waiting for my THX was hard enough as it was. I know they’re providing it free but Drop really should spend a bit more for a faster, less convoluted shipping service for products this expensive.

Glad to hear it. I’m familiar with that — I run playback through Aurdirvana on my MBP and USB out, and the Modi 2 I first owned did not support digital volume adjustment whereas my SU-8 does. Regardless, static is unacceptable at any dBFS and I hope that issue doesn’t plague many units.
