Hi Has anyone tested Diana V2 with Cayin N8II. Is there a good synergy?

Have you connected Diana V2 directly with Cayin N8II? What was your feeling in terms of the power from Cayin ? Was it enough for Diana ?

It’s quite new. I have charge it maybe 5 times, but I was expecting that the difference will be noticeable. And there is nothing - A/AB or Tube/SS ☹️🥺

I used UM Mest mk2 and Audeze LCD XC Carbon. The second one is very transparent so I should hear the difference immediately. But as I wrote - no difference at all. A-AB is easy to switch and I can imagine that this should be easy to recognise. This is really strange. How about this white blink...

I have just started to think if my N8II is a properly working device. One is this wake-up blink described above. Another issue is that I cannot find any difference in Tube- SS mode and A-AB class in every possible combination. Is there anything in the settings which can help or maybe unlock it ?

You are right, however I have paid half of the sum which you have mentioned, so the difference in price is not so big. Maybe comparison to Manhattan is more appropriate.

I was really fascinated with Brooklyn DAC+ up to the moment when I have heard Lampizator DAC, type Golden Atlantic (as well Polish production close to Warsaw) which is a tube rectified device. There is no further comparison - Mytek was killed easily and now it is on the shelf and is waiting for...

Unfortunately not....Both are out of my budget :)

I have been using Brooklyn DAC+ since few weeks and I must confess that this DAC beats others which I have already tested in my system. I have listened to Chord Qutest, Audiobyte Black Dragon, Heed Abacus ( which in my opinion is the best solution up to the budget of 1000 USD) and nothing sounds...

I have already contacted but due to the Christmas time I'm afraid that they will reply at the beginning of January.... Maybe someone has a similar issue or something came to your mind. The DAC+ is now in. the box so I can only look at it instead of listening.... :(
