Hi, i listen to music trough tidal > fiio e10k > sennheiser hd 598 sr; and on android: tidal > 1more triple driver. I can get a pair of EDIFIER r1700bt really cheap compared to my country's price. Would that be a waste of money? or would they be listeneable? how do these/other cheap speakers...- markito331

Annoying "ringing" sound in classical music piano recordings
I listened to the uchida op 111 in youtube and couldn't hear the ringing . I heard the ringing in the op 109 mostly, through TIDAL. You don't need particular track timers, it's there all around, just listen a bit.- markito331

Annoying "ringing" sound in classical music piano recordings
Great answer dude. I didn't mean to be rude when i said "huge mistake", i meant how could a noob like me find a "mistake" and some engineers from two of the most praised labels did not . I'll keep what you said: trade-offs, side effects. Subjetivity. I don't think there is much of my fault...- markito331

Annoying "ringing" sound in classical music piano recordings
agreed, but how could DECCA make such a huge mistake? that's why i think it's a matter of taste. think uchida late beethoven sonatas 2006 recording, it has ringing.- markito331

Annoying "ringing" sound in classical music piano recordings
yeah after some investigation i'm with you, i know piano tuning, and i have a vertical acoustic, you are right the higher notes are not dampened, it could just be that, those armonicss/resonance. btw it's really hard to tune those higher notes, since the other ones around are not dampened and...- markito331

Annoying "ringing" sound in classical music piano recordings
inside the piano, could be. no it is not in other recordings, nor in other genres (wich i don't listen to a lot). i thought it would be maybe my headphones broken, making an annoying noise when trying to reproduce some frequencies. it seems it is from the recordings.- markito331

Annoying "ringing" sound in classical music piano recordings
I use tidal as a source, fiio e10k + sennheiser hd 598 sr. There is a common annoying sound present on classical music piano recordings, like a "ringing" sound, high sound, sutile but noticeable. Could you help me? what is causing these? the piano, de recording, the mastering, what? 2 examples...- markito331

smartphone max volume output
hi, i'm a classical music listener, wich is recorded very quietly, and i had to buy an amp for my Senhheiser HD 598 SR for desktop usage, even though i wouldn't need it for other genres listening. i've just bought a pair of 1more triple drivers, and considering should be ok with smartphones...- markito331

volume booster android apps
does anyone know how theese work? do they distort as hell? do they introduce hiss? i'd be happy if i can avoid buying an amp for my smartphone setup. how do they work science-wise? amplifying my IEM's (budget ones $20 ath cor150is) with the app makes hiss go pretty noticeable. this doens't...- markito331

fiio portable amp for classical music
Yeah. I think it's crazy $102 for just an amp. my country has high importation taxes, i will take a look at amazon anyway. Thx everyone for your replies, but, are you taking in in consideration the classical music volume problem? To listen to rock i wouldn't even need the fiio e10k amp nor an...- markito331
