As i already said the EXT is an awsome performer and an outstanding alrounder imo. Playing games with the EXT should be a lot of fun :) I'd definitely recommend the EXT.

I'd say the Phönix wouldn't be the best choice for games. I guess in games bass (for fun) and resolution (f.e. to hear the enemy coming?) is pretty important. Phönix isn't well known for it's outstanding bass performance :) I'd recommend the EXT ! Definitely. Or the Evo. But i hope you're not...

Good choice :) ...but it depends on the music genre you prefer. While the EXT is a beast when i comes to IDM, EDM, Pop, Hip-Hop or Electronic (!) i prefer the Elysium (f.e.) for Classics, Instrumental and Songwriter. Probably the Phönix would be a better pick as well if you prefer the last...

Hey Tristy, it's still the Iliad. I simply love Iliads sound with the EXT when listening to electronic music as it's extremely musical and beautifully clear with great bass. Lovely combo for this genre. With rock and classics Iliads treble for my taste sometimes gets to harsh though.

I still wonder how the EXT sounds with Aeneid and/or Socrates. Has anyone tried one of those combos ? After 200h of burn in the bass was tamed a bit and sounds better controlled now. Iliad is a wonderful companion for the EXT but still treble can get harsh sometimes...
