I think it would, just by size it is a bigger amp than the one in the N3, which has a good DAC. Are you planning on buying one? or do you have one already? If you are going to buy one I would say the difference wouldn't be big, better to save that money for a better amp later?

I used to have the FX X6, from my experience with the K712's they sound very similar with most stuff and in my opinion hard to pair and need plenty of current (class a?), maybe is just not my sound signature, they sound a bit thin in my opinion.
