My second pair of these has also died in one channel, this time outside of the Amazon return window:( I wonder if it's due to me falling asleep wearing them and wax from my grody ears pooling into them, although that's never been a problem with other iems. Such a shame.

It told me I got a good seal with both the Apples and Spinfits. I dunno, I've been spending this afternoon listening to Bowie and Can on the 'fits and it was a good time :)

Lost my right side eartip for these so got some spinfits. Definite improvement clarity-wise, quite happy.

Still loving these bad boys. Just had a listening session with Chemical Brothers, Stone Temple Pilots and Frank Sinatra (yes I'm a basic gen xer) and it was a good time.

I had my right side die too, but I don't know if it was a connection issue; when I swapped the cables over I still had sound in the left and nothing in the right. I've had my replacements for a month and they seem fine.

I’ve only ever experienced the microphonics issue when I had the cable under my shirt and kinda loosely hanging out my collar. When I let ‘em hang naturally (wink wink)there’s no problem.

From the moment I got them the sound in the right channel cut out on occasion, but came back when I adjusted the fit. I think I thought I just had an improper fit when this was happening. But then one day the right side just went completely dead. Got my replacements today. No problems so far...

I bought the FD5 as a replacement for my sadly destroyed Xelentos (couldn’t afford a new pair). They’re a little bulkier than the Xs but not too much though. It’s a more airy, wider and balanced sound signature than the Xs which I’ve come to enjoy. I don’t see myself replacing them, I think...

I've been using these tips that I got with my Oriveti OH500. Great fit, sounds beautiful with the FD5. I had an hour long train commute this morning and did not once take my phone out of my pocket, was just enjoying the tunes :)

Not to be a bore but I’m enjoying these, just been listening to some Soundgarden, Aphex Twin, Massive Attack, Wu Tang, U2, Prince, Bowie and all my pleasure centres were activated. (Note: beer was involved). A very enjoyable IEM.

I reckon if I AB’d them with the Xelentos (which sadly I can’t :( ) I’d still prefer the Beyers. They had more weight and presence and a slight coldness which I loved. But I’m enjoying the FD5!

My beloved Xelentos died last night and I can’t afford a new pair so I ordered a pair of these. Dunno if they’ll be as good but I’m excited to receive them.

Still getting this problem with the connection cutting out when I’m on the train. Doesn’t matter what codec I’m using or where the ZX300 is positioned. But the connection is rock-solid with the iPhone. Shame really.

Been using my ZX300 with the Senny PXC550 these past few days as I’ve injured me ear hole and can’t insert my Xelentos. The sound is good but compared to my iPhone I get loads of dropouts: is the ZX300 not great with the Bluetooth connection then? I’m using connection preferred LDAC,

I'm in a similar position, although my tinnitus is very mild and doesn't hinder me in any way. Ain't no such things as tinnitus treatments is there? i thought you were stuck with it.

I saw a cable a while ago that had a range of terminations - 3.5", 2.5", 4.4" - all on the same cable. I didn't buy it at the time as I was skint, but now I want it. I can't for the life of me remember who made it. Does anyone know what I'm on about and could be kind enough to remind me?
