I love my he560 with my audio-gd nfb-29.38 which is a DAC/Amp combo that goes for ~$900. It's quite powerful, worth a look.

Just to follow up, my replacement headband came yesterday and it is the newer one with metal yokes. I'm gonna hold off on installing it until my crazy glue/gorilla tape job fails, but I'm very happy! Love the sound of these...

Thanks for that but from what I can see they use similar, but different tubes in the Valhala 2 (6N1P dual triode input, 6N6P dual triode output, 1 each per channel. 6N1Ps rollable to 6DJ8, E88CC, 6922, 6BZ7, and similar types.)
